The Finance Senior Data Analyst's Mission: 

As a key part of our rapidly expanding fintech, your role as a Senior Data Analyst is critical to the execution of Baubap's vision You will collaborate closely within business units in order to provide data driven decision making. You will provide the keys tools such metrics, insights and analytical reporting that will allow your team optimize their key objectives. You will be closely understanding the needs of our users.

The expected outcomes:

  • Enhance Financial Accuracy: Improve the accuracy of financial forecasts and budgets through rigorous data analysis.
  • Support Strategic Decisions: Provide reliable data insights to inform and support strategic financial decisions.
  • Optimize Resource Allocation: Ensure optimal allocation of resources by analyzing financial data and trends.
  • Drive Efficiency: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency of financial planning operations.
  • Maintain High Data Standards: Uphold high standards of data quality and integrity to ensure reliable analysis and reporting.

The day to day tasks:

  • Collaborate with various team members to comprehend and resolve data needs. Help them answer the most important questions.
  • Translate complex data into understandable conclusions for a business audience, and propose potential actions and strategies.
  • Measure and articulate the business impact of changes, improvements and/or experiments.
  • Constantly find insights through extensive analysis of raw data in order for other team members can take informed decisions about product development.
  • Present data-driven insights that directly influence strategic decisions, demonstrating clear ROI through your analyses.
  • Automate key financial reports and forecasting models, reducing manual work
  • Track business metrics to identify areas of improvement and potential risks
  • Utilize advanced analytics tools and software to enhance financial planning capabilities
  • Lead initiatives to promote a data-driven culture within the financial planning team.

Why YOU should apply:

  • You have 3-5 years of experience in finance or in the fintech industry
  • You are proficient in SQL, Python or R (2/3 preferred)
  • You have strong statistical and analytical background
  • Your background is in financial analysis
  • You have experience in creating Data Reports for a non-technical audience
  • You have experience automatizing processes
