Want to join our team as a Partnership & Growth Initiatives Specialist?

In this high-impact role, the Partnership & Growth Initiatives Specialist will support the Partnership & Growth Initiatives department by bringing operational excellence, planning rigor, and executional discipline to new revenue-generating opportunities involving brand strategy, partnerships, licensing, content and joint ventures for Bauer Hockey. This role will operate as the connective tissue between big-picture ideas and flawless execution connecting business development with key internal functions. It will champion best-in-class process, project management, and marketing operations. This is a unique opportunity to help shape and scale a new business division within one of the most iconic brands in sports.

Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities:

Operations & Project Management

  • Translate strategic partnership and licensing concepts into structured work plans with clear timelines, deliverables, and dependencies.
  • Build and manage integrated project timelines (WBS) across functions: brand, legal, creative, marketing, and finance and ensure cross-functional accountability.
  • Support initiative reviews, track progress against milestones, and ensure cross-functional accountability.
  • Ensure initiatives are delivered on time, on budget, and aligned with Bauer’s brand, standards, and growth goals.
  • Establish and maintain an operating rhythm: weekly division meetings, milestone check-ins, and executive updates.
  • Prepare division lead for all internal and external meetings with relevant data, briefs, and insights.
  • Recommend and implement tools (Airtable, Smartsheet, Monday.com, etc.) to improve planning, tracking, and communication.
  • Own the division’s operational knowledge base, including process docs, templates, and SOPs.

Budget Oversight & Vendor Coordination

  • Track budgets, forecasts, and expenses across all partner and licensing projects.
  • Manage royalty payments, vendor invoices, and reconciliations.
  • Coordinate external partners (licensing agents, production firms, consultants) from contracting through delivery.

Performance Tracking & Reporting

  • Build and maintain dashboards to track initiative status, KPIs, and commercial performance.
  • Monitor metrics such as revenue contribution, deal timelines, partner performance, and renewal cycles.
  • Deliver regular reporting to senior leadership with actionable insights.
  • Proactively identify and solve gaps in planning, communication, or resourcing.

Event Management

  • Support and participate in events across North America at events/launches, photo shoots and grassroots experiences on and off ice.
  • Travel required as needed to manage and execute events.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in operations, project management, business planning, or related roles—ideally supporting new business, licensing, or innovation teams.
  • Proven track record managing complex cross-functional projects from concept through delivery.
  • Skilled in creating timelines, structuring workflows, and optimizing team operations.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate at all levels of organization.
  • Experience using project management tools and dashboards (Airtable, Asana, Monday, etc.).
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and calm under pressure.
  • Adjust quickly to changing priorities and business needs.
  • Travel as needed and/or required by essential job functions.
