Want to join our team as a ProSharp Advisor?

ProSharp is seeking a self-motivated, go-getter Sales Advisor to cover the US Midwest region, selling our industry-leading skate sharpening and profiling machines. As a ProSharp Advisor, you’ll be responsible for building and executing sales targets, driving sell-thru using demos and staff training, and identifying replenishment opportunities across the skate ecosystem. You'll also manage your territory budget and play a key role in activating the brand at the grassroots and retail levels. Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities:

  • Drive territory results with our retail partners within your territory for both commercial and home machines, working hand in hand with the Bauer sales reps within your territory.
  • Lead on-ice demos, in-store training and education of machines.
  • Manage your travel and expense budget, providing quarterly check-ins.
  • Provide basic service on commercial machines, and ensure dealers are signing up for annual service through the booking services calendar.
  • Communicate bi-weekly with Bauer sales reps on opportunities and challenges you are seeing in the field.
  • Integrate with sales reps on replenishment opportunities within the skate ecosystem (footbeds, socks, steel, etc.)
  • Analyze market opportunities through a dashboard tracker for your territory that you will maintain.
  • Maintain great working relationships with store owners, managers and back-shop staff. 
  • Track monthly results within your territory and identify opportunities to grow and drive sell thru.
  • Collaborate and share best practices with other advisors.
  • Activating at tournaments and team fittings – providing live demo’s, explaining features and benefits of our product offering.  (example – home machine or profiling)
  • Assist with skate ecosystem training of staff – Blade Fitting, Orthotics, Custom, etc.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3-4 years of experience in retail sales or commercial sales or digital sales and/or channel marketing.
  • High level Background knowledge in sharpening and profiling in the hockey marketplace.
  • Experience in tracking, managing sales results.
  • Strong understanding of competitive landscape, retail landscape and their buying behavior of hockey.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate at all levels of organization, as well with hockey crazed families (our consumer).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Adjust quickly to changing priorities and business needs.
  • 60-70% Travel as needed and/or required by essential job functions.
