Want to join our team as a Sr. Technical Product Manager? 

The Senior Technical Product Manager (Contract) is responsible for driving delivery, decisions, analysis, accountability, communication for PAA Custom Platform. Lead SaaS vendor collaboration/accountability, manage dependencies/risks, create data driven alignment across PAA/Vendor teams with architectural vision. Actively lead planning/execution to prioritize features, estimate effort and hold vendor accountable to SLAs. A successful candidate will drive improvement in delivery processes, use data focused approach for business and technical requirements gathering, turning documentation into plans and roadmaps, clarifying ambiguities & interpretation gaps prior to translation into epics, user stories, and reporting status to PAA Executive team. This is a six (6) month temporary role, with a hybrid schedule - you will be required to work one (1) day per week in our Exeter, NH office and the other four (4) days can be remote. 

Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities

  • A systems thinker who prefers scalable frameworks over one-off solutions - Lead SaaS vendor/partner relationship and execution. Assess and improve platform issue resolution, release management, change management. Analyzing data to create reports on SaaS platform health.
  • A problem solver who can de-risk unknowns early through spike work and clear documentation - Partner with SaaS vendor to create/execute program roadmap, requirement gathering and detailed plans for feature improvements, driving metrics & E2E improvement. Responsible for program processes & documentation, processes improvements.
  • Someone comfortable with ambiguity, who can structure unknowns into actionable plans - Develop & track program plans and schedules, dashboards & metrics, technical issues and negotiated priorities against project plans to ensure key deliverables are met.
  • A team player who thrives in cross-functional collaboration and can balance business goals with technical realities - Collaborate with Brand/Custom Managers to define KPI’s, provide effective communication regarding status, issues, objectives, dependencies, risks, data matrices and plans to leadership and product development teams. Resolved risks, develop mitigation strategies
  • Partner with Brand/Custom Managers on their product strategy, requirements and influence design, development, testing, deployment for multiple products on SaaS platform.
  • Deliver executive-level overview for progress tracking, removal of redundancies across work streams by combining/improving product refreshes to elevate efficiency across the organization.
  • Recommend cadence, present status at executive meetings including key milestones, data metrics per workstream, risks/challenges, and mitigation strategies, as well as future roadmaps and provide input on budget planning, including forecasting potential cost variations.
  • An advocate for outcomes over process, always focused on delivering value - Drive improvement in delivery processes, use data focused approach for business and technical requirements gathering, turning documentation into plans and roadmaps, clarifying ambiguities & interpretation gaps prior to translation into epics or user stories.
  • Support, perform planning & analysis of the integration approach for cloud native apps, data mapping, SAP, AWS services, to align on integration of PAA Custom across the organization.

Minimum Requirements

  • BS or BA in Technology/Engineering.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience as a Technical Product Manager
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills (oral, written, meeting facilitation and documentation). Influencing skills will be required to explain and engage technical and non-technical teams.
  • Knowledge of the Order-to-Cash process within a consumer goods or manufacturing environment and/or experience in sporting goods, athletic footwear, and apparel - global operations.
  • Strong familiarity with Agile delivery practices (Scrum, Kanban, or hybrid).
  • Technical fluency: able to understand APIs, integrations, data flows, and system dependencies.
  • Hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence, and backlog management.
  • Experience working with eCommerce platforms (Shopify & SAP preferred), ERPs, or middleware systems a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills with a proven ability to manage multiple parallel streams of work.
  • Adjusts quickly to changing priorities and business needs.
  • Travel as needed and/or required by essential job functions.
