What is Private Duty Nursing?

  • Private duty = full shifts (8's, 10's, or 12's)
  • Private duty = one client for the whole shift
  • Common diagnosis our LPNs work with: TBI, SCI, COPD, Stroke, Dementia/Alzheimer’s, Premature Birth, Cancer, and surgery recovery.

*LPNs working in hospitals, long-term care, and schools have directly transferable skills and are well-equipped to handle one client in the home.

Qualifications for A Private Duty LPN:

  • Graduation from an accredited and approved nursing program, as indicated by school transcript or diploma 
  • A current New Jersey nursing license in good standing 
  • A minimum of 5 months of LPN experience 

Compensation: 

  • Pay range: up to $35.00 hourly based on experience and skills

Bonus Opportunity

  • Sign On Bonus Up To $5,000.00
  • Weekend BAYLOR Program - Commit to on-going weekend shifts and earn up to $40.00/hr with our enhanced rate weekend program!
  • STAT LPN Critical Care Program - Earn up to $45.00/hr using your tracheostomy and ventilator experience with infant, pediatric, and adult clients in surrounding counties.
