About the role:
Second Nature Designs LP is a premier provider of exquisite dried floral decor. Our innovative designs and high-quality products have made us a leader in the industry. As we continue to grow, we are looking for an experienced and versatile IT Manager to lead and manage all aspects of our technology environment. This individual will be responsible for day-to-day IT operations, network infrastructure, cybersecurity, and playing a pivotal role in the planning and execution of our upcoming ERP system implementation. The team work on a hybrid model with 4 days in office. 
 
IT Operations & Support
  • Oversee the smooth functioning of all IT systems including networks, servers, endpoints, and business applications.
  • Lead IT helpdesk functions to ensure timely support for hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
  • Administer Microsoft 365, email, VPNs, and other cloud-based productivity platforms.
ERP Implementation Leadership
  • Serve as the owner of the ERP and systems in use at the company
  • Ensure that annual updates for the for the ERP are properly tested and validated before executing live within company
  • Coordinate internal teams and third-party vendors/consultants if small changes or modifications are required
  • Support user training and change management strategies to ensure optimal adoption and utilization
Cybersecurity & Compliance
  • Implement and monitor cybersecurity best practices to protect company data and systems.
  • Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and manage endpoint security tools and firewalls.
Infrastructure & Systems Management
  • Manage LAN/WAN, cloud infrastructure (e.g., Azure, AWS), and on-premise systems.
  • Maintain backup systems, disaster recovery plans, and high-availability setups.
  • Monitor system performance and uptime, proactively addressing bottlenecks or risks.
Vendor & License Management
  • Evaluate, select, and manage IT vendors and service providers (hardware, software, telecom).
  • Track software licenses, renewals, and ensure legal compliance.
  • Negotiate contracts and service-level agreements (SLAs).
IT Strategy & Planning
  • Align IT strategy with business goals; provide insight and recommendations to leadership.
  • Manage IT budgets, forecasts, and procurement planning.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of progressive IT experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role.
  • Experience managing ERP implementations ( i.e. .J.D Edwards, SAP, Dynamics, Epicor).
  • Proficiency in managing Microsoft, Linux, networking, cloud platforms, and cybersecurity tools.
  • Experience with systems integration, data migration, and change management.
  • Excellent project management skills.

The base salary range for this position is $80,000 - $100K + a competitive commission structure.
