Senior Human Resources Business Partner

Location: Dallas, TX or Austin, TX or Woodinville, WA (working a hybrid in-office schedule)
The Sr. HR Business Partner is responsible for providing strategic partnership and consultation to their respective business leaders and units. The Sr. HRBP will advise on the HR aspects of business decisions and ensure alignment with company culture and practices to improve organizational success. This hands-on role provides human resources services in the areas of employee and leadership development, employee relations, performance management, employee engagement to the Sales unit. This position requires working on-site daily with some flexibility.
Responsibilities
- Act as primary contact for employees and managers. Build a strong business relationship with the internal clients and stakeholders.
- Develop a strong understanding of the business. Proactively support the delivery of HR initiatives and processes.
- Identify opportunities for HR strategic influence within client groups and set objectives in partnership with leaders accordingly.
- Effectively drive leadership development, management/employee coaching, and performance management
- Partner with management teams to assist in optimizing people, strategy, structure, process and culture, and facilitate the delivery of HR services as appropriate
- Ensure accurate employee information and audits for weekly and biweekly payroll reviews.
- Conduct regular meetings with leaders to review talent, provide advice and recommendations on performance management, development, organizational design, etc.
- Consult with management to address root causes of performance issues, resolving issues with a detailed approach. Counsel management on disciplinary actions ensuring consistency and adherence to policies.
- Partner with Sales teams to identify specific talent development needs for the facility and collaborate with the T&D Director.
- Identify, evaluate, and participate in human resource policy and program development in partnership with the HR team.
- Proactively identify and develop programs, or tools to positively affect morale and retention.
- Apply extensive knowledge of human resource principles, concepts, industry practices and standards in the analysis of information and projects.
- Process various reports from HR systems (ADP Workforce Now, PM Systems, etc.) to analyze trends and provide management with appropriate information.
- Assist in the ideation and execution of multiple employee recognition events throughout the year.
- Other job duties as assigned.
Experience/Training/Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications, or related field
- Minimum 10 years experience working in a full-time HR role, preferably with a background in sales support
- At least 5 years of experience in an HR Business Partner, Employee Relations, or similar role with a focus on partnering with management on complex people issues
- PHR and/or SHRM-CP certification preferred
- Any similar combination of education and experience
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures within HR field, including detailed, up-to-date knowledge of state and federal employment law
- Knowledge of ADP Workforce Now preferred
- Knowledge of Greenhouse preferred
- Ability to act objectively while mentoring employees and management through issues that are sophisticated, difficult, or emotional in nature
- Exceptional social skills with ability to influence and act as a change agent across the organization
- Exceptional ability to effectively prioritize workload and manage changes in direction
- Ability to collaborate and work within a team environment
- Ability to utilize human resources data and analyze trends
- Willingness to work on the tactical as well as the strategic
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Demonstrated effective presentation skills, including ability to adapt communication style to fit audience
- Digital literacy: advanced MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Outlook
- Ability to work under pressure on multiple projects and deadlines
- Ability to interpret and apply required policies and procedures
We are pleased to share the base salary range for this position is $100,000 to $110,000. If you are hired at BDA, your compensation will be determined based on factors that may include geographic location, skills, education, and experience. In addition to these factors, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as a part of any offer. In the spirit of pay transparency, the range listed is the full base salary range for the role and hiring at the top of the range would not be typical, in order to allow for future salary growth.
