Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced QA Engineer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both manual and automation testing, with the ability to set up automation testing environments from the ground up. While the role will primarily focus on manual testing in the short term, the successful candidate will play a crucial role in laying the foundation for future test automation initiatives.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
•    Develop and execute comprehensive manual test plans, test cases, and test scripts
•    Perform thorough functional, regression, and user acceptance testing
•    Identify, document, and track bugs and issues
•    Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure quality throughout the development lifecycle
•    Set up and maintain test environments for various projects
•    Analyze test results to ensure existing functionality and recommend corrective action
•    Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies
•    Focus on early bug detection, working with developers to apply requirements analysis and the refining of acceptance criteria.
•    Provide first-tier day-to-day support and administration of Salesforce platform
•    Perform user and license management including user setup/deactivation, roles, profiles, permission sets, and public groups
•    Maintain and improve data integrity by regularly monitoring and resolving data inaccuracies within the system
•    Assist in documenting existing processes and workflows to strengthen institutional knowledge
•    Proactively collaborate with the Salesforce development and other business applications team and get the issues resolved timely
•    Identify opportunities for process improvement within Salesforce
•    Provide testing and QA support as needed
•    Stay up to date with all major Salesforce releases

JOB SKILLS AND TRAITS
•    2+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with a strong focus on manual testing
•    Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
•    Experience with test case design, execution, and defect tracking
•    Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
•    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
•    Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
•    Strong written and verbal communication skills
•    Strong team player who contributes positively to company culture
•    Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
•    Self-starter mentality with a proactive approach to learning and problem-solving

QUALIFICATIONS
•    Salesforce Administrator Certification required
•    Experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud, CPQ, Service Cloud, Amazon Voice.
•    Experience managing profiles, permission sets, role hierarchies, and security settings 
•    Strong written and verbal communication skills 
•    Prior experience querying (SQL, SOQL, etc.) relational databases.
•    Prior programming experience is a plus.
•    Experience in an Agile environment.
•    Proficiency in creating and executing manual test cases
•    Understanding of various testing types (e.g., functional, regression, integration, system)
•    Experience setting up automation testing environments from the ground up
•    Proficiency in at least one programming language commonly used for test automation (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript)
•    Familiarity with test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, TestNG)
•    Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and their integration with automated tests
•    Experience in using test management tools (e.g., TestRail, Zephyr)
•    Experience with bug tracking systems (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla)
•    Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git)
•    Knowledge of API testing tools (e.g., Postman, SoapUI)
