Location: 

  • This role is based in Plainfield, IN and requires you to work onsite 5 days per week.
  • To be considered, you must live within commuting distance, as regular in-person collaboration is a key part of the role.

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for tasks relating to receiving, processing, selecting, shipping, and storing inventory.

Qualifications

  • Previous warehouse experience preferred.

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to stand on feet for entirety of shift, sometimes in one area.
  • Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds
  • Must be able to regularly bend, lift, stretch, and reach both below the waist and above the head.
  • Must be able to make repetitive motions throughout workday.
  • Must be able to tolerate environmental changes, such as varying temperatures and background noise.

  • Must have basic/fundamental computer literacy and be familiar with Excel.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Receiving, processing, labeling, packaging, and shipping orders accurately and timely.
  • Loading and unloading products off and on trailers.
  • Inspect all products for defects and damages.
  • Use RF scanners to perform day-to-day functions.
  • Operate warehouse software consistently, accurately, repetitively, and rapidly.
  • Follow all established quality control processes.
  • Operate forklift, hand truck, pallet jack and various other general warehouse equipment.
  • Keeping warehouse space organized, maintaining inventory and storing products properly.
  • Maintain an elevated level of productivity for yourself.
  • Provide input and feedback to improve and optimize warehouse operations/processes.
  • Report to the Warehouse Supervisor on the results of daily productivity.
  • Follow all BDA Safety, Security and Sanitation procedures and communicate and follow-up with team members.
  • Other job duties and projects as assigned.

If you are hired at BDA, your compensation will be determined based on factors that may include geographic location, skills, education, and experience. In addition to these factors, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as a part of any offer. In the spirit of pay transparency, the range listed is the full base salary range for the role and hiring at the top of the range would not be typical, in order to allow for future salary growth. The range listed is just one component of BDA’s total compensation and rewards programs, which includes: robust PTO; vacation, a paid volunteer day, holidays and summer Fridays, Benefits; medical, dental, vision, life, and AD&D insurance, 401k; tuition reimbursement, mental health and financial wellness programs and professional development opportunities including tuition reimbursement. Certain revenue-generating positions may be eligible for incentive compensation.
