
People Operations (HR) Generalist
Beacon Biosignals is seeking a dynamic People Operations Generalist who excels in a versatile role, balancing strategic HR initiatives with the essential groundwork that keeps the domain afloat. You’ll be a critical member of our growing People & Talent domain, helping us deliver a seamless employee experience while ensuring operational excellence across payroll, compliance, and employee support. You’ll partner closely with Talent and domains across the organization to support and deliver People Operations programs, processes and procedures. This is an ideal role for someone with strong HR generalist experience who’s looking to continue to deepen their skills at a high-growth, mission-driven company.
This role is located in Cleveland, Ohio due to our recent exciting acquisition (read more here!) but will be supporting the broader Beacon Biosignals organization. The role reports to the Head of People & Talent.
- Own end-to-end payroll processing
- Oversee and manage all aspects of new hire orientation, including deck and information updates and scheduling attendees, to ensure a seamless and positive onboarding experience for new employees
- Create and own employee recognition programs
- Maintain compliance workflows and track leave documentation
- Oversee benefits administration, handle inquiries, and manage enrollment
- Foster an inclusive company culture through effective People Operations policies and practices
- Resolve employee issues and provide guidance on company policy and conflict resolution
- Serve as a main point of contact for employee inquiries, providing prompt and accurate support
- Maintain internal employee resources and documentation
- Manage immigration processes for current and prospective employees, including coordinating visa applications, renewals, and compliance with legal requirements
- Identify opportunities to automate workflows and optimize manual processes across payroll and People Operations
- 3-5 years of professional experience, showcasing business acumen and a problem-solving mindset
- You have experience in People Operations, with hands-on ownership of employee data updates, inquiry management, and cross-functional support
- You thrive in a high-growth, fast-paced environment and enjoy building repeatable systems
- You are familiar with various HRIS tools
- You have a sharp eye for detail and are confident working with data, spreadsheets, and documentation, including processing employee lifecycle changes like promotions and compensation adjustments
- You have a strong sense of ownership and accountability for your work, and a natural service mindset when supporting employees
- You are an innovative, energetic self-starter eager to contribute to a dynamic and diverse workplace
