Strategic Finance Associate
Job Summary: The Strategic Finance Associate will be responsible for supporting the company’s financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis functions. This role requires a strong analytical mindset, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments. The successful candidate will provide valuable insights to senior management, helping to shape the company’s financial strategy and drive business performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Financial Analysis:
- Conduct comprehensive financial analysis to support strategic initiatives, including market expansion, product development, and M&A activities.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management based on analysis of business performance and market trends.
- Develop and present financial reports and dashboards to executive leadership.
- Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A):
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-term financial plans.
- Develop and maintain financial models to support business planning and decision-making.
- Analyze financial performance against budgets and forecasts, identifying trends and variances.
- Operational Support:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze financial data, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Support the development of key performance indicators (KPIs) and monitor performance against targets.
- Assist in the preparation of board materials, investor presentations, and other executive communications.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in investment banking, consulting, or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and analysis.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and financial software/tools.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information clearly.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
Expected Salary Range: $125,000 - $140,000
