Job Overview:

Beam is looking for a versatile, hands-on marketer to support our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who loves variety and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Reporting to the Director of Marketing and Strategic Communications, this role will lead and support marketing efforts across the entire funnel—from generating new leads to supporting customer engagement.

While demand generation will be a key part of your work, you'll also roll up your sleeves to manage email campaigns, update our website, create content, support events, and more. The ideal candidate is someone who can think strategically about pipeline goals, but also execute the day-to-day marketing operations that bring campaigns to life.

 

What You Will Do:

Demand Generation & Sales Enablement Campaigns

  • Develop and execute multi-channel campaigns to drive qualified leads across target audiences (government, higher ed institutions, and nonprofits)
  • Create campaign assets, including landing pages, email sequences, and paid ad content
  • Build automated workflows that guide prospects through the funnel and drive conversions
  • Collaborate with Sales and Partnerships teams to develop campaigns aligned with revenue and pipeline goals
  • Partner with Sales, Partnerships, and Customer Success to ensure marketing supports the full customer journey
  • Analyze performance data and insights to test, optimize, and demonstrate campaign ROI

Event Marketing 

  • Support promotion and logistics planning of Beam events, webinars, and workshops 
  • Coordinate Beam’s presence at conferences and industry events and develop collateral to support Sales Team

Content & Collateral Development

  • Draft, edit, and publish content such as blog posts, newsletters, and social media posts
  • Create sales enablement materials and campaign assets that support outreach and follow-up efforts

Email and Digital Marketing

  • Manage email marketing campaigns in Mailchimp or Salesforce (Pardot), including list segmentation, A/B testing, and performance analysis
  • Maintain and update website content using using a CMS
  • Manage social media accounts by scheduling posts and engaging with followers
  • Track, analyze, and report on key marketing metrics to inform strategy and improve performance
  • Stay up to date on marketing trends and emerging tools that could help Beam reach and engage our audiences more effectively

What You Should Have:

  • A passion for Beam’s mission
  • Comfortable managing multiple projects and shifting priorities in a fast-moving environment
  • Strong understanding of how to plan and optimize campaigns across the funnel (email, paid, SEO, social, and events) and how to align campaigns with business goals and pipeline targets
  • Excellent time and project management skills 
  • Strong writing skills 
  • Familiarity with digital marketing tools like:
    • Canva
    • Salesforce Accounts Engagement/Pardot
    • Social Media Advertising and Google Ads
  • B2B experience preferred

 

Compensation and Benefits:

The salary range for this position has been benchmarked in relation to the scope of the role, market rate, company stage, and internal equity. The base salary for this role will be between $100k - $120k.  Where a candidate falls within the band is determined by skillset, experience level, and geographic location. Furthermore, this role will come with a total compensation package that includes equity shares and competitive benefits. Some of our benefits include:
