Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and collaborative Senior Cloud Developer to join our global team.
In this role, you will help build, maintain, and improve cloud infrastructure and deployment processes, primarily within Microsoft Azure. You will work closely with engineering, platform, security, and data teams to deliver reliable, secure, and automated cloud solutions.
The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Azure, Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, scripting, monitoring, and infrastructure troubleshooting. Experience with Kubernetes is valuable but is not the primary focus of this position.
Key Responsibilities
Cloud Infrastructure
- Provision, configure, and maintain cloud resources in Microsoft Azure.
- Support cloud environments across multiple subscriptions and deployment stages.
- Contribute to infrastructure improvements focused on reliability, security, scalability, and operational efficiency.
- Assist application and platform teams with cloud infrastructure requirements.
Infrastructure as Code
- Develop, maintain, and improve Terraform modules and configurations.
- Support Infrastructure as Code standards, code reviews, versioning, and reusable deployment patterns.
- Troubleshoot Terraform plans, deployments, state-related issues, and provider errors.
CI/CD and Automation
- Build, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, validation, testing, and deployment processes.
- Create and maintain automation scripts using Shell or Python.
- Support Git-based development workflows, pull requests, branching strategies, and deployment approvals.
Monitoring and Troubleshooting
- Monitor cloud resources using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights, New Relic, or similar tools.
- Analyze logs, metrics, alerts, and deployment failures.
- Investigate infrastructure incidents and support root-cause analysis.
- Contribute to operational documentation, runbooks, and troubleshooting guides.
Security and Access Management
- Support Azure RBAC, managed identities, service principals, workload identities, and credential management.
- Follow security, governance, and compliance standards.
- Assist with access reviews and the implementation of least-privilege permissions.
Networking
- Support Azure networking components such as Virtual Networks, subnets, Network Security Groups, private endpoints, DNS, firewalls, and routing.
- Troubleshoot connectivity issues between cloud services, pipelines, applications, and private networks.
Containers and Kubernetes
- Support containerized workloads using Docker.
- Assist with basic Kubernetes or Azure Kubernetes Service operations when required.
- Collaborate with specialized platform teams responsible for advanced Kubernetes architecture and administration.
Qualifications
Experience
- 3 or more years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, Platform Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, or a related role.
- Hands-on experience working with Microsoft Azure environments.
- Experience supporting production or enterprise cloud environments is preferred.
Technical Skills
- Hands-on experience with Terraform or a similar Infrastructure as Code tool.
- Experience creating or maintaining CI/CD pipelines, preferably using Azure DevOps.
- Experience with Git-based workflows and code review processes.
- Experience with Shell or Python scripting.
- Familiarity with Docker and containerized applications.
- Experience analyzing logs, metrics, alerts, and cloud infrastructure issues.
- Understanding of Azure identity, access management, networking, and security concepts.
- Basic knowledge of Kubernetes or Azure Kubernetes Service is desirable.
Additional Knowledge
Experience with one or more of the following technologies is considered a plus:
- Argo CD or GitOps practices
- New Relic
- Azure Monitor and Log Analytics
- RabbitMQ
- Apache Kafka
- Azure Event Hubs
- Azure Key Vault
- Azure Policy
- Databricks
- PostgreSQL, Cosmos DB, or other managed data services
- Kubernetes service mesh, operators, or Custom Resource Definitions

- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

- Ability to document technical solutions clearly.
- Good communication skills and experience working with distributed or global teams.
- Ability to work independently while asking for support when necessary.
Preferred Qualifications
- Microsoft Azure, Terraform, DevOps, or Kubernetes certifications.
- Experience working in enterprise, multi-subscription, or multi-environment Azure architectures.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira or Azure Boards.
- Experience supporting infrastructure incidents and production deployments.
