Plumbing and Sewer Sales Specialist

Help homeowners understand their plumbing and sewer problems and choose the right next step. As a Plumbing and Sewer Sales Specialist at Bee’s Plumbing, you’ll combine technical expertise with outside sales, providing consultations, diagnosing sewer and drain concerns, and recommending solutions that fit each customer’s needs.

Your involvement goes beyond the sale. You’ll coordinate with field technicians, supervisors and sales coordinators, monitor work as it progresses, and help resolve customer concerns. This role is for someone who enjoys building trust, explaining technical information clearly and delivering sales results.

You’ll collaborate across the sewer and drain team, helping turn field findings into clear recommendations and keeping customers informed as their projects move forward.

What You’ll Do

  • Conduct outside sales consultations with club members and non-club customers, focusing on sewer and drain services.
  • Assess customer needs, diagnose sewer and drain concerns, and recommend appropriate repairs or services.
  • Explain findings, installation methods and service options in clear, professional language.
  • Apply your knowledge of general plumbing, camera operation, drain issues, and standard tools and equipment.
  • Monitor plumbing repair, sewer and re-pipe jobs daily to help ensure progress stays aligned with contractual timelines.
  • Work closely with Field Drain Technicians, Sewer Supervisors, PSI Technicians and Sales Coordinators to provide accurate customer solutions.
  • Resolve contractual and job-performance concerns with customers and supervisors.
  • Represent Bee’s professionally, follow company policies and operate company vehicles responsibly.

What You’ll Bring

  • Proven sales experience and a self-motivated, results-oriented approach.
  • Strong knowledge of sewer and drain systems, including repair and maintenance techniques.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • The ability to assess customer needs and present solutions clearly and professionally.
  • Proficiency with CRM software and other sales tools.
  • A valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Helpful Experience

  • Experience in plumbing, HVAC or another home services business.
  • Prior experience working in a 100% commission sales role.

Physical Demands and Working Conditions

This field-based role involves travel to customer locations, on-site consultations and assessments, and operation of company vehicles. Essential job tasks, performed with or without reasonable accommodation, include:

  • Operating a vehicle to travel between customer locations.
  • Accessing customer work areas to assess plumbing, sewer and drain concerns.
  • Operating sewer camera equipment and standard tools used in assessments.
  • Inspecting systems and reviewing camera images.
  • Using CRM software and other sales tools to manage customer and job information.

$100,000 - $300,000 USD
