Role Overview:
Bee Windows seeks a strong Purchasing Agent. This is a high-visibility, high-impact role responsible for managing approximately $9–$10 million in annual product orders across windows, doors, siding, bath, and gutters. For someone who wants ownership, visibility, and the chance to make a measurable impact, this role delivers all three.
Responsibilities:
- Order windows, doors, siding, bath, gutters, and other primary products from vendors.
- Review contracts and measure forms before purchasing to verify colors, sizing, and specifications are accurate and complete.
- Identify discrepancies such as color changes without notes, missing change orders, or sizing outside vendor specifications.
- Communicate with sales reps and measure techs when issues are identified, and resolution is needed before an order is placed.
- Coordinate with measure techs to confirm job specific details including sizes, styles, and any field changes.
- Work with the receiving team to address product issues immediately upon delivery.
- Contact vendors regarding replacements or corrections when products arrive incorrectly.
- Maintain accuracy across high volume, complex contracts, some of which include up to 40 line items.
