
Custom Cabinet Builder
Summary/Objective
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Custom Cabinet Builder with 3-5 years of experience in the cabinet construction industry. The ideal candidate will have a capable background in custom cabinet building projects. This role requires expertise in framing cabinetry, building complex range hoods, and accessories, while maintaining high standards of craftsmanship and quality. As a Custom Cabinet Builder, you will actively participate in the day-to-day management of your assigned projects, collaborating with both internal teams and management to ensure timely, high-quality, and cost-effective project completion.
Responsibilities
- Actively participate in the day-to-day management of complex jobs under your control. This includes, but is not limited to, framed cabinetry, building complex range hoods, and building complex accessories.
- Work to achieve established production goals of complex installations, ensuring projects stay within budget while meeting quality expectations.
- Communicate effectively both verbally and electronically using the production schedule with team member and menagement to ensure clear understanding of project goals and status.
- Complete assemblies using detailed engineering drawings provided in files on tablets/computers.
- Maintain a high standard of safety, organization, and cleanliness of assigned work area.
Qualifications
- 1 to 3 years’ experience as a cabinet builder or cabinet assembly operator, specifically with custom and/or complex construction projects.
- Strong experience in framing cabinetry , building complex range hoods, and constructing other intricate accessories.
- Proven ability to manager work with a focus on quality control and meeting project deadlines.
- Strong understanding of cabinet construction processes, materials, and techniques.
- Ability to understand detailed drawings and templates for complex constructions.
- Excellent project management skills, with a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and electronic, with the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment
This job operates in a shop and jobsite environment.
