About Belltower Fund Group:

Belltower is empowering world-changing fund investments.

Belltower was formed in 2019 as AngelList’s native fund administrator and completed its journey to become an independent company at the end of 2023. Belltower provides fund administration services to the venture space. Our coverage spans syndicates, venture funds, and first-of-their-kind rolling funds. Our full-service fund management offering streamlines the complexity of running a fund by integrating financial reporting, tax, compliance, portfolio management, and other services that managers typically have to cobble together from multiple vendors. Our services, combined with AngelList’s software, enable us to launch and scale a fund efficiently, allowing fund managers to focus on what they do best: investing.

Since 2019, Belltower has supported 29k+ funds representing over $23B in assets under administration, leveraging AngelList’s fund admin software to power the service layer for funds launched on the AngelList platform.

About the Role:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and process-driven operator to own the subscription and closing workflows that sit at the heart of all the funds we launch and administer. This position will report to our Manager, GP Services (Subscriptions & Closings) and you do not need previous financial or investment experience or context.

We are looking for a detail-oriented, organized, and structured thinker who will provide exceptional service to our GPs and LPs behind the scenes by making their experience using our platform seamless.

This is a high-volume, deadline-driven role at the intersection of fund operations, investor relations, and fund administration. You will be the person who supports deal launches in a timely manner, catches errors before they become incidents, and drives continuous improvement in how we work.

You will:

  • Own and execute the operational workflows that move SPVs and venture funds from submission, through launch, to first deployment, and throughout the fund lifecycle.
  • Execute end-to-end subscription workflows for LPs investing via IRAs, including LP onboarding, subscription document processing, and investor support.
  • Manage a high-volume pipeline of active SPV launches, triaging priorities and hitting deadlines without sacrificing accuracy.
  • Coordinate with Legal, Finance, Tax, and Customer Relations teams to resolve blockers and ensure fund operations run smoothly across all stages.
  • Work closely with the Fund Formations and Legal teams to process Fund Amendments and run LP consent campaigns.
  • Support the quarterly transitions of active rolling funds, maintaining strong and prompt communication with the Customer Relations team, GPs, and Engineering team.
  • Identify discrepancies, edge cases, and recurring failure points; escalate appropriately and drive root cause resolution.
  • Coordinate with offshore teammates, including training and onboarding, queue management, and support with escalations.
  • Build and maintain process documentation, SOPs, and workflow guides to support team scalability and knowledge transfer.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and implement no-code, low-code, or AI automations to reduce manual work and strengthen controls.
  • Serve as a reliable point of contact for internal teams on all workflows.

You have:

  • 2+ years in an operations role, ideally in fund administration, financial services, legal ops, or a high-volume tech startup environment.
  • Superb attention to detail; you catch errors at scale, under pressure, and before they reach the GP or LP.
  • Comfort working in fast-paced, high-volume environments where precision and speed both matter.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and a genuine appreciation for process. You document, systematize, and improve processes as a matter of habit.
  • Strong written communication: you write clearly, escalate early, and keep stakeholders aligned without being asked twice.
  • A proactive, ownership-oriented mindset; you identify problems before they are assigned to you and follow through without needing to be tracked.
  • Familiarity with venture fund structures, SPV mechanics, or LP subscription workflows (a strong plus, not a requirement).
  • A desire to build: automating repetitive tasks, documenting edge cases, and anticipating failure points is how you work, not an afterthought.
  • A deep love of startups.

If you don’t tick every box above, we’d still encourage you to apply. We’re building a diverse team whose skills balance and complement one another.
