The Product Manager is a critical role within Belong Health bringing a generalist background and ownership mindset to building scalable tech-enabled solutions to address care navigation and care delivery needs in the Belong Health operating model. The product manager role will work cross-functionally to identify business needs, design and operationalize workflows and partner with technical teams to manage the development, deployment, and enhancements of product solutions. The Product Manager is expected to be as comfortable with measurement and accountability as with design and collaboration with technical resources that will work to support the product roadmap.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Product Strategy 

  • Develop domain specific product strategy based on input from senior leadership and business owners
  • Lead Product Triad meetings for domain area to align stakeholders on product strategy and translate strategy into product components that will be prioritized by the organization.
  • Develop annual product roadmap as well as quarterly product roadmaps that align to organizational strategy.

Product Operations

  • Lead the development of technical requirements for product components.
  • Manage the execution of products with a total ownership and accountability mindset working crossfunctionally with technical and business teams to ensure that function and design meets the needs of the end user and is trackable and reportable from end to end
  • Design and iterate workflows that support value-based care objectives and will improve patient outcomes.
  • Define, monitor, and analyze leading indicators that drive to key financial and patient outcomes.

Teamwork and Collaboration

  • Partner with engineering teams to translate workflows into intuitive platforms, dashboards, and tools that will ensure the business achieves key objectives.
  • Build and maintain feedback loops with network users, operational teams, and external partners partners to ensure product adoption, measure impact, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Support training and implementation efforts so that internal and external stakeholders use the tools developed.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • None

REQUIRED PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • 4+ years of product management or workflow design experience in healthcare technology, population health, or care management.
  • Experience with healthcare operations (physician practice, care management, health plan operations)
  • Ability to define and analyze success metrics, explicitly linking leading indicators to ultimate outcomes to demonstrate ROI.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and facilitation skills; able to gather diverse input and translate it into actionable solutions.
  • Jira fluency, including writing user stories and epics independently.
  • Strong grounding in UX and UI principles, with the ability to translate workflows into intuitive user experiences.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including building models and analyzing large datasets.
  • Experience with agile methodologies and product management tools.
  • 0 to 1 product experience.

PREFERRED PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience working with Medicare Advantage and ACO programs
  • Experience in early-stage companies

EDUCATION, TRAINING, LICENSE AND CERTIFICATION

  • Bachelor’s degree is required; advanced degrees (MBA, MHA) are preferred.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Predominantly remote work-environment with required in-person collaborative work on a monthly basis at minimum.

  • This role may require up to 25% travel for in person collaborative work sessions.

SALARY RANGE

  • Salary Range: $110-140K
