Senior Accountant - Audit

The role

As a Senior Accountant in our Audit division you'll be working with a team of productive and enthusiastic professionals - you'll provide high quality services to a defined and limited portfolio of external clients.

You'll be empowered to:

You'll get to use your discerning eye to ask the questions no one has thought to ask as you become a trusted advisor to a range of clients including ASX listed, SME and non-profits. We'll give you exposure to a wide range of businesses.

With a flat structure in the audit division you'll be able to make real influence in the team, show leadership and critically analyse from the outset. You'll have the freedom to think laterally as you problem solve challenges that arise. 

You'll have secure employment throughout the year as we have a strong December client base that allows continual employment full-time staff. Any downtime over the year is dedicated to training, developing skills and career progression.

This is a permanent full time position, with a competitive salary of $85,000 to $95,000 (inc super), working 37.5 hours per week.

About you

You'll be a self-starter proactively managing all aspects of the client’s annual compliance obligations. You're a problem solver who enjoys a challenge and can comfortably communicate at all levels. You'll build authentic connections with clients, Managers and Partners to manage workflow and team performance. 

  • You'll have at least 3 years experience in external audit within the Australian market
  • Ideally, you will be CA/CPA qualified or nearing completing of CA/CPA qualification
  • A strong commitment to client satisfaction with a flexible and team focused approach
