Team Assistant
About the role
As a Team Assistant at Bentleys, your role is integral in supporting three Partners and their team of Accountants. Ideally, you will thrive in a fast paced environment, where you will deliver high quality and efficient administrative outcomes. This position will suit a proactive and self-motivated Team Assistant who can take initiative and really run with the role to make it their own.
Responsibilities include:
- Scheduling meetings
- Managing daily correspondence with clients and other external parties
- Management of ATO, ASIC, etc. correspondence and applications
- Liaising with the Australian Taxation Office regarding client queries
- Raising invoices
- Drafting engagement contracts
- Arranging establishment of client entities
- Scanning and electronic filing of documents
- Ensuring client files are kept up to date and compliant
- Collating tax returns and financials
- Printing reports when required
- Getting documentation prepared for meetings
- Ad-hoc administrative duties as required
About You
We envisage that our successful candidate will have a minimum of 18 months' experience in a similar role preferably within a professional services firm.
- A positive attitude with the willingness to learn quickly
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multi task, prioritise workload and meet deadlines is essential
- Able to demonstrate high level of organisational skills
- Ability to work autonomously, and as part of a team
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Products
- A+ for previous experience working in an accounting firm
