Team Assistant

About the role

As a Team Assistant at Bentleys, your role is integral in supporting three Partners and their team of Accountants. Ideally, you will thrive in a fast paced environment, where you will deliver high quality and efficient administrative outcomes. This position will suit a proactive and self-motivated Team Assistant who can take initiative and really run with the role to make it their own. 

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Scheduling meetings
  • Managing daily correspondence with clients and other external parties
  • Management of ATO, ASIC, etc. correspondence and applications
  • Liaising with the Australian Taxation Office regarding client queries
  • Raising invoices
  • Drafting engagement contracts
  • Arranging establishment of client entities
  • Scanning and electronic filing of documents
  • Ensuring client files are kept up to date and compliant
  • Collating tax returns and financials
  • Printing reports when required
  • Getting documentation prepared for meetings
  • Ad-hoc administrative duties as required

 

About You

We envisage that our successful candidate will have a minimum of 18 months' experience in a similar role preferably within a professional services firm.

 

  • A positive attitude with the willingness to learn quickly
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multi task, prioritise workload and meet deadlines is essential
  • Able to demonstrate high level of organisational skills
  • Ability to work autonomously, and as part of a team
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Products
  • A+ for previous experience working in an accounting firm
