
Senior Operations Manager (f/m/x)

As a Senior Operations Manager, you will be part of the Purchasing team which includes 16 team members with diverse backgrounds. What make our team unique is we are a diverse team, very International and we promote autonomy at work. The goal of the position is to work on optimization of end-to end Inbound Shipping operations, improve processes, drive cost saving initiatives, and create transparency. What you will do:
- Responsible for optimizing shipments given space allocation, focusing on improving the key KPIs of the department (reducing costs and improving in-stock rates)
- Optimizing and improving the end-to-end logistics inbound processing
- Monitoring global freight transportation and logistics trends including disruptions, adapt supply chain strategies and find solutions to mitigate impact
- Examining, analyzing, and validating large datasets (e.g. in-time supplier deliveries, general supply chain tracking, profitability, etc.)
- Business sparring partner and support for our operative Purchasing teams on their daily business
- Supporting and managing different Purchasing-related projects and working on general process optimization efforts
What we are looking for:
- 3+ years relevant work experience in a similar role with background in logistics
- University degree in Business Administration or a related field, ideally with a focus on Controlling, Accounting, or Finance
- Strong knowledge of reporting and database tools
- Advanced Excel, PowerQuery and Pivot skills
- Basic BI tool experience, ideally with Power BI
- Ideally basic SQL skills
- Experienced in working with ERP systems, ideally SAP S/4 HANA
- Fluency in English; German is very beneficial
