Working Student Technical Product Management (f/m/x)

Berlin, Germany

Berlin Brands Group (BBG) has been designing, producing, and selling products in the areas of kitchen appliances, garden & living, sports and consumer electronics since 2005 and is now one of Europe’s largest digital companies including around 550 employees around the globe. We love brands and products!

The working student role offers a rare opportunity to shape the future of Klarstein’ s product portfolio in a high-impact, cross-functional position at the heart of a leading European D2C appliance brand. You will be instrumental in helping to build and scale structured product processes from the ground up, with full ownership over the certain aspects of the value chain—ensuring the quality of our existing product portfolio, fixing production issues together with external inspectors, creation and validation of instruction manuals. The position combines analytical depth, technical knowledge with creative influence, offering collaboration across product, quality, compliance, and operations. Klarstein’ s ambition to reposition itself as a design-for-value brand brings both strategic challenge and a platform for innovation. For candidates seeking complexity and career development, this is a unique step up.

What you will do:

  • Analyze customer feedback from various channels including product reviews, returns data, NPI reports, and customer service interactions to identify recurring product issues and improvement opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the Quality team to define, initiate, and track corrective action plans addressing technical and user-experience related product concerns.
  • Assist in spare parts management, including identifying critical components, defining technical requirements, and supporting sourcing activities with suppliers.
  • Support the development and improvement of Instruction Manuals, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and alignment with actual product functionalities and user needs.

What we are looking for:

  • Studies in Mechanical or Electrotechnical Engineering, Business, Product Management, or a related field
  • First experiences in a product management, tech, or QA-related environment are a plus
  • Strong interest in consumer electronics, technology, and product management processes
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to work independently and structure your tasks
  • Excellent communication skills in English; German is a plus

What we offer:

  • Modern and dog-friendly office in the heart of Berlin (Friedrichshain) with a view of the Spree
  • Public transport ticket grant, 30% discount on our products
  • Active promotion of your development, e.g. through continuous performance feedback, language courses, further training and mental health coaching by the Fürstenberg Institute
  • Daily fresh fruits and vegetables as well as drinks and various health offers e.g. physiotherapy, yoga and back training courses
  • Support by a team of highly skilled and dedicated colleagues who celebrate successes together at numerous company events

Who we are:

BBG creates, builds and scales consumer brands globally. Within the last 17 years we have created and built own e-commerce brands including our largest and best-known brands Klarstein, auna and blumfeldt. Our passion for good products is reflected by over 5000 items we bring to our customers in 27 countries via the D2C (Direct-to-Consumer) model. Our headquarter is in Berlin, however our employees work in a total of 6 locations around the globe – in Europa, USA, and Asia.

We plan to grow even further and reinvest in world-class logistics and fulfilment, innovative digital marketing, e-commerce, marketplace development and other sales channels. To fuel this growth, we are looking for talented and highly motivated colleagues like you to join us in shaping the DNA of BBG.
