Finance Business Analyst (f/m/x)

We are looking for a driven and detail-oriented Finance Business Analyst (f/m/x) to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with large datasets, uncovering insights, and supporting data-driven decision-making. While finance experience is a plus, it is not a requirement. The key is a strong foundation in data analysis, business understanding, and the tools required to work efficiently at scale. 

 

What you will do:  

  • Analyze large and complex datasets to identify trends, issues, and opportunities 
  • Develop dashboards, reports, and ad-hoc analyses to support business strategy and operations 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define business problems and deliver actionable insights 
  • Support the design and implementation of data-driven solutions 
  • Work closely with stakeholders to define KPIs and track performance metrics 
  • Ensure data quality and integrity across reports and analytical outputs 

 

What we are looking for:  

Must-Have: 

  • Min. 2 years’ experience as a Business Analyst, Controller, or in a similar analytical role 
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (incl. Pivot, Vlookup, PowerQuery, PowerPivot) 
  • Experience working with large datasets and comfortable interpreting data
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail
  • Curious, proactive, eager to learn and comfortable working independently as well as in a team setting
  • Able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Fluency in English

 

Nice-to-Have: 

  • Experience in or exposure to the finance department in a company, preferably in e-commerce. 
  • Proficiency in Power BI or similar BI tools (e.g., Tableau, QlikView) 
  • Experience working with SAP  
  • Basic knowledge of SQL (ability to write basic queries to extract data)
