Position Overview:
A Title Clerk completes motor vehicle paperwork, interacts with the public and other agencies, and is responsible for filing vehicle owner titles and registration in a timely manner.
What You’ll Do:
- Supervise the titles department and support training initiatives
- Process title and registration paperwork for new and used vehicles
- Submit legal documents to the DMV
- Verify the accuracy of documentation and payments
- Maintain title records and track outstanding title work
- Communicating with internal departments and external agencies
- Stay up to date on title laws and compliance requirements
- Train and mentor others on title procedures
What You Bring:
- Experience as a Automotive Title Clerk (preferred, not required)
- Strong knowledge of automotive title procedures and compliance
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel and Word
- Leadership and team training experience
- Excellent follow-up skills with close attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced, deadline environment
- A positive, collaborative attitude
Requirements:
- At least 18 years of age
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check
