Are you up for the opportunity of a lifetime? If so, we are seeking a Project Manager for Studio 111 to assist the Berlin team in organizing and maintaining the custom package portfolio through the management of complex projects and management of overall key metrics and to increase studio project efficiency.
Key Activities / Accountabilities:
- Assist the studio operations and studio management by organizing, maintaining, and reporting on key metrics for the department
- Assist in developing and implementing the overall Studio One Eleven program management strategy, including coordinating cross-project activities and developing policies that streamline project management across all projects.
- Support the development of custom product solutions, ensuring evolving project requirements are well-documented.
- Coordinate with project stakeholders (designers, engineers, and cross-functional teams) to capture and translate customer needs into structured design criteria, ensuring the overall project scope is maintained.
- Track the end-to-end development process, from concept to final validations, including facilitating risk assessment reviews and tracking compliance considerations.
- Maintain accurate project documentation for internal teams, customers, and suppliers.
- Positively represent Berlin Packaging and Studio One Eleven to internal, external, and prospective clients
- Fulfill employee portion of the “Berlin Values”
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
Education & Experience
- 4-year degree in technical, product development, or design-related field.
- Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) in Engineering, Industrial/Product Design, or a related discipline is preferred.
- Exposure to MS Office suite and project tracking programs
- Experience in corporate R&D / design department, consultancy, or PMP certification is a plus.
- Experience in product development, with the ability to refine uncertain project requirements into actionable plans, is a plus.
Technical & Industrial Expertise
- Background in product design, development, engineering, or manufacturing.
- Interest in learning about packaging materials, manufacturing techniques, and production constraints.
- Strong problem-solving and organization skills for managing evolving project needs.
- Ability to document and track design evolution while ensuring alignment with project goals.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Communication
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for internal and external collaboration.
- Ability to translate technical design requirements into actionable development tasks.
- Experience working with design, engineering, quality, manufacturing, marketing, and regulatory teams is a plus.
Work Ethic & Environment
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving mindset.
- Ability to work remotely and maintain accountability.
- Willingness to travel (up to 10%).
Working Environment:
Hybrid environment: at least 3 days in the Chicago, IL office
Note: our corporate HQ is moving the Merchandise Mart in 2025
CA, IL, NY Pay range
$75,000 - $90,000 USD
