Are you up for the opportunity of a lifetime? If so, we are seeking a Jr. Technical Support Engineer.

The Jr. Technical Support Engineer will be responsible for aiding, resolving, and handling technical support requests ranging from basic user training to issues requiring technical and problem-solving skills as part of the technical support team responsible for the corporate end-user environment.  We are looking for a highly motivated, results-oriented professional focused on the configuration and support of windows-based client systems. They will also be responsible for improving the security, stability, and performance of our systems and applications.

Key Accountabilities:  

• Be a self-directed, technical resource that can work both independently and with the broader team.
• Be a first point of contact for support requests.
• Identify, diagnose, research, track, and resolve technical problems.
• Escalate issues and facilitate user assistance from third parties or other IT groups as needed.
• Maintain a level of knowledge and involvement in many aspects of Berlin Packaging’s information systems environment.
• Deploy, manage, and document a wide variety of IT devices and applications running primarily on Lenovo desktops, ThinkPad laptops, Apple mobile and computer devices, and Polycom Telephony equipment.
• Configure and repair workstations, laptops, IOT Devices and audio-visual equipment in a timely and independent basis.
• Interact independently with end users and meet all assigned user support and IT project commitments.
• Effectively work in a cooperative and collaborative global team environment.
• Regular activities include desktop engineering and troubleshooting, coordinating with Senior Support Engineers, systems administration in a Microsoft environment, telecom/mobility administration, and root cause analysis.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:  

• Associates degree or equivalent work experience and certifications required
• Minimum of 1-2 years of helpdesk experience in a medium to large enterprise environment
• Must possess excellent customer service skills and strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• At least one industry-related certification strongly preferred – CompTIA certifications, Microsoft MCP or MCSA, Cisco CCNA, equivalent proctored certifications, or the equivalent work experience
• Experience supporting Microsoft 365 and Windows 11 in an enterprise environment
• Experience supporting Microsoft Active Directory-based users
• Experience supporting cloud-based VOIP telecommunications such as Teams
• Experience with InTune, DHCP, DNS, File services, printer management, email administration
• Understanding of networking concepts
• Experience using an IT ticketing or ITSM platform
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Must have a valid Driver’s License
• Multilingual in Spanish, Italian, and/or Frencha plus

Working Environment:  

• Business casual office and warehouse environments
• Hybrid work environment (Must report in-office Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday.)
• Occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds may be required.
