Berlin Packaging has been investing in technology across the enterprise, and our integration platform is at the heart of how our systems connect, communicate, and scale. As a Senior Integration Engineer, you will be a hands-on practitioner at the center of that effort — designing and delivering enterprise-grade API and integration solutions that power critical business workflows across our technology stack.

You will collaboratively develop solutions along with onshore and offshore developers, architects, and cross-functional technology teams, contributing your expertise, elevating the work around you, and owning your deliverables end-to-end. The expectation is that you bring deep, proven experience and can operate with a high degree of autonomy from day one.

API & Integration Development

  • Design and develop enterprise-grade APIs and integrations across a broad ecosystem of SaaS, cloud, and on-premise systems
  • Implement API-led connectivity patterns (System, Process, and Experience APIs) using REST and SOAP, with robust error handling and data transformation
  • Build event-driven and asynchronous integrations using messaging platforms such as Anypoint MQ or Azure Service Bus
  • Develop and deploy integration applications on cloud-native runtime environments, including configuration, scaling, and environment management
  • Integrate APIs with Azure API Management, including payload optimization, security policy enforcement, and performance tuning

  • Deliver integrations across enterprise platforms including ERP, CRM, eCommerce portals, PIM systems, and data warehouses
  • Support frontend and web/mobile portal consumption of APIs, ensuring reliability and performance at the consumer layer
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines and promote engineering best practices across the integration codebase

Quality, Security & Collaboration

  • Implement API security standards including OAuth2 and JWT, and maintain observability through monitoring and alerting tooling
  • Provide L2/L3 production support, triaging and resolving integration issues with a sense of urgency and thoroughness
  • Collaborate effectively with onshore and offshore developers, sharing knowledge and contributing to a high standard of delivery across the team
  • Leverage AI-assisted development tools to accelerate productivity and improve code quality

Required Qualifications

  • 5–7+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise integration development
  • Deep expertise with the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, including Anypoint Code Builder and modern MuleSoft development practices
  • Proven experience with CloudHub 2.0 deployment and runtime architecture
  • Strong command of REST, SOAP, JSON, XML, and DataWeave transformations

  • Proficiency with CI/CD tooling including Azure DevOps and GitHub
  • Solid understanding of API security standards including OAuth2 and JWT
  • Experience building or integrating AI/LLM-enabled APIs
