ABOUT THE CAMPAIGN & CREATIVE SERVICES TEAM

The Campaign & Creative Services–Direct Mail team is a political direct mail shop and branding agency within BerlinRosen. We have a record of winning some of the toughest races around the country and tackling the biggest issues facing our world today. We have an in-house creative studio that specializes in strategy, copywriting and design. We serve as creative partners to our clients, helping to tell our candidates’ stories to voters. Together, we’re a team of strategists, copywriters, branding experts and designers. We find a candidate’s path to victory and then write, design and produce award-winning creative targeted specially to their voters and build brands for leading non-profits, foundations, educational institutions, social impact companies and more.

 

ABOUT THIS ROLE

BerlinRosen is seeking an Account Director for their Campaigns and Creative services team. As a member of our Direct Mail team, the Account Director will be integral to ensuring our team stays on schedule and provides our clients with timely and high-quality creative services, as well as strategic advice and insights. The ideal candidate is highly organized, has strong attention to detail and political campaign experience.

Role location: This role is based in our New York, N.Y. or Washington, D.C. office on a hybrid basis. The Campaign & Creative Services team is in-office at least 3 days per week.

 

ACCOUNTABILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

As an Account Director on our Campaign & Creative Services team, you will…

  • Manage production and drive internal processes for your political direct mail clients
  • Advise campaign clients on political direct mail strategy
  • Provide clients with strategic advice on all facets of the campaign
  • Lead direct mail creative planning and conceive mail creative
  • Staff and art direct photoshoots
  • Create and maintain direct mail budgets
  • Partner with the Data Director to construct a path to victory
  • Prepare invoices and work with finance team to ensure payment
  • Manage junior-level direct mail staff

Essential skills:

  • 4+ cycles of political campaign experience
  • Ability to create campaign strategy and have comfort with campaign and paid media budgets
  • High level of organization, meticulous attention to detail and an ability to multitask
  • Ability to manage deadlines in a high-pressure fast-paced environment
  • Strong proofreading and writing skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Solid quantitative skills

WORKING AT BERLINROSEN

Compensation philosophy: BerlinRosen offers competitive industry rate salary bands with the goal of retaining and growing talented individuals. We regularly review and adjust our compensation structure as needed to ensure equity across teams and levels.

Salary range (commensurate with experience and skills): $82,000-$105,000

Account Directors are eligible for end of year bonuses (typically in even years) based on firm, team and individual performance.
