Product Analyst - Bestpass

Road Map:

You’ll be working with a high-performing team of product leaders, architects, UX designers, engineers and testers. You will be focused on designing, building and delivering high-value features extending the Bestpass and Fleetworthy platforms to serve commercial and consumer fleets with a range of services. We’re moving quickly, with empowered teams setting direction and solving problems through innovation, a modern tech stack, data analytics and deep industry knowledge.

The Product Analyst will be responsible for determining the business needs and requirements for new systems and system changes. In this highly visible role, you will provide reporting, analyze data, make sense of the results and be able to explain what it all means to key stakeholders - ranging from executive leadership to engineers, from marketers to product managers.

The successful candidate will be an expert with analyzing large data sets and have exemplary communication skills. The candidate will need to be a self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment, and able to think big while paying careful attention to detail.

What Your Ride Will Look Like:

  • Metrics Analysis: Continuously analyze product and usage metrics along with interviews to identify opportunities for optimization
  • Evaluate Company Products: Assess our existing products and compare them against industry trends. Identify areas for improvement and recommend enhancements.
  • Product CX : Will own feedback analysis, usability testing assisting with feature prioritization and developing user personas.
  • Market Research: Study market data to determine which new products to launch. Understand customer preferences and needs through interviews and surveys.
  • Project Oversight: Oversee small to medium-scale projects related to product development.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments (such as product management, engineering, and marketing) to enhance product analysis and presentation.
  • Company Goals: Contribute to achieving short and long-term product growth goals.
  • Document: Create and maintain documentation that both technical and non-technical staff can utilize to understand business and system process flows.

Show Off What You Have:

  • BA/BS degree in computer science, math, stats or related disciplines or equivalent work experience.
  • Strong SQL experience, familiarity with Excel and Business Intelligence tools.
  • 3+ years of experience as a business analyst or product analyst, leading requirements capture, management and analysis activities along all phases of agile software development.
  • Experience influencing decision makers across cross-functional teams using insights generated through quantitative and qualitative data.
  • Expertise with agile tools like JIRA, Confluence and Slack
  • Solid knowledge of modern technology concepts (e.g. APIs, DevOps, relational databases, and web-based architectures).
  • Proven track record of successful communication of analytical outcomes through written communication, including an ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams.

  • Analyst certification is a plus (SAFe, Scrum Alliance, PMI, IIBA)

Compensation:

  • Up to $80,000 to $90,000 yearly to start
