Product & Design Operations Specialist
Excellent Opportunity to join Betsson Group as a Product & Design Operations Specialist!
The Wow
At Betsson Group, we don’t just design experiences – we build the systems that enable creativity, insight, and product excellence to thrive. As our Product & Design Operations Specialist, you’ll be the driving force behind our day-to-day operational excellence—making sure that our teams are empowered with the right tools, processes, and rhythms to do their best work.
You’ll work closely with product managers, researchers, designers, and operational leads to ensure our systems run smoothly, our teams are supported, and our practices continuously improve. Your work will be the engine that powers delivery and efficiency, enabling us to scale and innovate with confidence—while others in the team focus on strategic direction, transformation initiatives, and capability growth.
A taster of what you will be involved with:
- Maintaining access to design and research tools, templates, and documentation (e.g. JIRA, JPD, Confluence, Maze, Qualtrics, Figma, Miro).
- Helping onboard new designers and researchers with tool provisioning, team rituals, and process training.
- Drive continuous delivery of projects through small change initiatives, such as refining Jira workflows or simplifying time estimation and project tagging as we continue working towards improving our agile product development processes
- Supporting the maintenance of our research repository and design and product documentation libraries.
- Organising internal training and knowledge-sharing sessions and contributing to initiatives like a Product Academy.
- Partnering with Leads and Managers to support career conversations and personal development planning.
- Managing licensing, access, and team enablement ensures we’re getting the most from our product tools.
- Collaborating across Central UX, Brand, Product, and Research to identify and resolve process bottlenecks, improve efficiency, and elevate operational maturity.
- Coordinate with gambling, data privacy and accessibility compliance, finance, suppliers, designers and researchers to enable teams to focus on executing great design and research projects
- Foster a positive design culture and improve product designer experience by empowering teams and individuals.
What we are looking for
- 2–4 years of experience in DesignOps, ResearchOps, ProductOps, or an operational role supporting UX/Product teams.
- A passion for systems thinking – you spot inefficiencies, and proactively build better structures, templates, and ways of working.
- Confidence using and managing tools like Jira, Confluence, Maze, Figma, or similar.
- Clear communicator with strong writing and documentation skills – especially when translating complex processes into easy-to-use guides.
- Empathy and understanding of the realities of design and research work, and what it takes to support these practices effectively.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities, staying focused and calm under pressure.
- A service-oriented mindset with a natural instinct for enabling others to do their best work.
Great if you have
- Experience supporting mixed-methods research teams across different markets or geographies.
- Hands-on familiarity with Jira Product Discovery (JPD) and feature delivery processes.
- Understanding of GDPR and best practices in research data handling and accessibility compliance.
- Experience with design systems, repositories, and knowledge management.
- Formal training or background in UX, Research, Service Design, or DesignOps.
- Interest in building out career frameworks or progression models for creative teams.
- Proven examples of running small improvement projects that led to measurable impact.
