Senior IT Vendor Manager - Infra

This role will support Betsson in delivering secure, scalable, and reliable infrastructure and cloud services across our global organization. Your technical expertise, leadership skills, and collaborative mindset will be essential in driving the team forward in this mission.

The IT Vendor Manager will play a critical role in ensuring vendor performance, cost efficiency, contract compliance, and strategic alignment with business objectives.

A taster of what you will be involved with: 

Vendor Strategy & Governance

• Develop and execute a global vendor management strategy aligned with Infrastructure & Cloud objectives.
• Establish vendor governance frameworks, performance scorecards, and service review cadences.
• Build strong executive-level relationships with strategic technology partners.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across vendor engagements

Contract & Commercial Management

• Lead contract negotiations, renewals, and amendments in collaboration with Procurement and Legal.
• Ensure SLAs, KPIs, OLAs, and compliance requirements are clearly defined and monitored.
• Manage vendor budgets, cost optimization initiatives, and financial forecasting.
• Identify and mitigate commercial and operational risks.

Performance & Service Management

• Monitor vendor performance against agreed SLAs and KPIs.
• Conduct quarterly and annual business reviews (QBRs/ABRs).
• Escalate and resolve service delivery issues in partnership with internal stakeholders.
• Ensure vendors meet security, compliance, and regulatory standards (e.g., GDPR, ISO).

Stakeholder Collaboration

 

• Partner with Infrastructure, Cloud, Security, Architecture, and Operations teams.
• Act as the primary interface between internal service owners and external providers.
• Support major programs, cloud transformations, and infrastructure initiatives with vendor alignment

 

What we are looking for

• Expertise in IT Vendor Management, IT Service Management, or IT Procurement.
• Experience managing global or multi-country vendor ecosystems.
• Strong knowledge of Infrastructure and Cloud environments (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).
• Proven experience negotiating complex enterprise IT contracts.
• Strong financial acumen and cost management capabilities.
• Familiarity with ITIL, supplier governance frameworks, and contract lifecycle management.
• Experience working within regulated European environments preferred.
