We’re strengthening our operations, refining our systems, and building a more cohesive, efficient experience across our brands. Our approach is grounded in transparency, strong operational foundations, and well-structured processes that support reliable execution and scalable growth.

About the Role

Cash flow is the lifeblood of our business, and as our A/R Specialist, you will have complete end-to-end ownership of our order-to-cash process. Operating as our dedicated, single-person accounts receivable powerhouse, you will oversee the full lifecycle from sales order conversion to cash application and subledger close.

Reporting directly to the Accounting Manager, you will serve as the essential bridge connecting Finance, Sales, Billing, Collections, and external lending partners. We are committed to fostering an inclusive, high-trust environment where your contributions are visible and valued. In this role, you will gain hands-on exposure to complex financial cycles like ASC 606 revenue recognition, advanced ERP data architecture, and executive-level reporting—offering you a clear path for professional development and career mobility within our finance organization.

Location: Irvine, CA (Fully In-Office)

Compensation: $41.00 - $46.00 / hour

Job Type: Full-Time (Non-Exempt/Hourly)

What You'll Be Doing

You will balance high-volume transaction processing with high-level reconciliations. Here is how your time will typically be budgeted:

  • End-to-End Subledger Ownership & Month-End Close

    • Own the monthly close and reconciliation of the AR subledger within NetSuite, including cash application, unapplied cash, credit memos, write-offs, and bad debt allowance schedules.

    • Prepare detailed supporting schedules and workpapers for the monthly close package and audit preparation.

    • Provide critical AR, billing, and collections data supporting ASC 606 revenue recognition and deferred revenue calculations.

  • High-Volume Daily Reconciliations & Cash Flow Tracking

    • Reconcile daily transactions across high-volume merchant processing platforms, special finance entity disbursements, processing fees, ACH transfers, chargebacks, and reserve holdbacks.

    • Match merchant deposits directly against bank statements, investigating batch timing differences, short payments, and discrepancies.

    • Monitor lender portals, reconcile funded disbursements to open receivables, and apply direct wire and cash receipts promptly with complete audit trails.

  • Order-to-Billing & Cross-Functional Alignment

    • Manage the order-to-billing pipeline, tracking incoming sales orders and ensuring their conversion into active, billable accounts.

    • Serve as the primary operational contact between Finance, Sales, Collections, Billing, merchant processors, and special finance partners to resolve account inquiries quickly.

  • System Optimization & Ad-Hoc Support

    • Act as the internal subject matter expert for the NetSuite AR module, managing customer records, billing schedules, invoices, payments, and saved searches.

    • Troubleshoot module issues alongside NetSuite administrators or consultants to streamline workflows.

    • Partner with the accounting management team on administrative and clerical tasks to maintain smooth operations.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (Required) with a solid command of standard accounting principles.

  • 5+ years of dedicated accounting experience, with proven success managing an AR subledger end-to-end in a fast-paced, high-volume transaction environment.

  • Proven track record reconciling complex merchant processor activity, batch remittances, ACH processing, and chargeback reserves.

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, complex formulas, lookups, and managing large datasets.

  • Demonstrated ability to multitask, take initiative on ad-hoc requests, and pivot quickly as operational priorities shift.

  • Professional verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively across internal teams and external financial partners.

  • Hands-on experience navigating NetSuite ERP (customer records, AR module configurations, and custom saved searches) is strongly preferred.

  • An active CPA license or progress toward obtaining a CPA is preferred.

  • Experience working with third-party consumer lending or special finance entity portals is a plus.

What We Offer

  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance coverage options.

  • Generous paid time off (PTO) and paid company holidays throughout the year.

  • A vibrant team culture featuring regular quarterly social events, team outings, and annual holiday parties.

  • 401(k) retirement savings plan options to support your long-term financial health.

  • Full autonomy over a vital financial function with direct access to accounting leadership and ongoing exposure to strategic revenue operations.

Classification of protected categories is as follows:

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 07/31/2029

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
