Sales Development Representative

What are we looking for?
BetterHelp Business is looking for an SDR to create and strengthen relationships with benefits teams that want to prioritize mental wellness through the implementation of telehealth therapy benefits. You will be responsible for owning the early stages of the sales process, following up on hot leads, and collaborating across all team departments.
What will you do?
- Prospect into multiple industries to find new business opportunities in the benefits space
- Work closely with SDR Lead to innovate cold outbound strategies
- Consistently book meetings for our Sales & Partnerships Managers
- Attend demos, lunch & learns, and webinars hosted by Sales & Partnerships Managers
- Collaborate with Marketing team to follow up on event marketing leads
- Maintain a high volume of cold calls and personalized emails a day
- Represent the BetterHelp Business brand by attending benefits conferences
- Track SDR pipeline, opportunities, and activity metrics
What will you NOT do?
- You will NOT worry about "runway", "cash left", or "how much time we have until the next round". We have the startup DNA but we're fully backed and funded, all the way to success.
- You will NOT be confined to your "job". You will get involved in product, marketing, business strategy, and almost everything we do.
- You will NOT be bogged down by office politics, ego, or bad attitude. Only positive, pleasure-to-work-with people are allowed here!

Can I work remotely?
Yes. We operate on PST and candidates in any time zone are welcome to apply. We ask employees to travel to our Mountain View, CA office up to three times per year plus one company-wide offsite to collaborate in person and strengthen working relationships. Travel expenses are covered and reasonable accommodations are made for those under unique circumstances who cannot travel.
Requirements
- 1+ years of professional experience as a Sales Development Representative
- 1+ Years of professional experience in benefits sales
- Significant cold calling experience
- Knowledge of sales technology: Zoominfo, Outreach, Salesforce, and SalesNavigator
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional internal stakeholders
- Excellent communication, persuasion and presentation skills

The base salary range for this position is $60,000 - $80,000. In addition to the base salary, this position is eligible for a performance bonus and the extensive benefits listed here (subject to eligibility requirements): Teladoc Health Benefits 2024. Total compensation is based on several factors – including, but not limited to, type of position, location, education level, work experience, and certifications.
