International Brand & Creative Manager

What are we looking for?
In this role, you will lead the development and execution of brand campaigns, creative assets, and storytelling initiatives across multiple international markets. The role requires a balance of strategic thinking, cultural fluency, data-driven storytelling and creative execution. The ideal candidate will have experience managing brand consistency across regions while tailoring creative strategies to resonate locally.
What will you do?
- Develop and execute integrated brand campaigns tailored for international markets while maintaining global brand consistency.
- Create brand playbooks based on consumer research & insights - flexing between mature & emerging markets.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external creative agencies to produce compelling assets including video, social content, digital ads, and print materials.
- Adapt global brand guidelines to meet regional cultural, linguistic, and regulatory needs without sacrificing brand integrity.
- Lead the creation of brand storytelling strategies, including messaging frameworks and visual identity systems.
- Work closely with performance marketing, product, and local market teams to ensure cohesive customer experiences.
- Oversee creative asset development timelines, budgets, and quality control.
- Conduct market research to understand cultural trends, audience preferences, and competitor positioning.
- Monitor brand health and campaign effectiveness through key metrics, providing actionable insights and recommendations.
- Oversee a global consumer insights strategy to drive our marketing efforts.
What will you NOT do?
- You will NOT worry about "runway", "cash left", or "how much time we have until the next round". We have the startup DNA but we're fully backed and funded, all the way to success.
- You will NOT be confined to your "job". You will get involved in product, marketing, business strategy, and almost everything we do.
- You will NOT be bogged down by office politics, ego, or bad attitude. Only positive, pleasure-to-work-with people are allowed here!
- You will NOT get yourself burned out. We work hard but we believe in maintaining a sustainable work/life balance. Really.
Can I work remotely?
BetterHelp is based in California but we're a fully remote team. For those in the EU, you'll work your local hours but ask that a portion of your working hours overlap with our US team to ensure effective collaboration. Employees may also be asked to visit our Mountain View, CA office (up to three times per year) to build strong team connections and experience our culture. Travel expenses will be covered, and reasonable accommodations will be made for those with unique travel challenges.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- 6+ years of experience in brand management, creative strategy, or related roles, ideally in international, consumer-facing industries.
- Strong portfolio of successful brand campaigns and creative projects across multiple markets.
- Deep understanding of cultural nuances and localization best practices.
- Excellent project management skills with experience managing multiple stakeholders and agencies.
- Proven experience with research and data-driven storytelling.
- Strong storytelling ability and visual sensibility.
- Familiarity with healthcare, mental health, or regulated industries preferred.
- Highly collaborative, organized, and adaptable, with excellent communication skills.
- Fluency in multiple languages is a plus.
