What are we looking for?
BetterHelp is looking for a Senior Product Designer who is passionate about creating seamlessly designed solutions. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, collaborative, and an effective communicator. We are looking for someone to clearly define and prioritize UX problems, and lead the effort to solve them
What will you do?
- Create user flows, wireframes, and high fidelity prototypes to address user, product, and business needs.
- Conduct user research and testing to define pain points.
- Have a proactive eye on UI/UX issues and drive solutions.
- Prioritize changes and improvements based on impact and complexity.
- Write detailed product and design specifications for developer hand-off.
- Work cross-functionally with product, data, and engineering teams to ensure the smooth launch of new features.
- Use quantitative and qualitative information to continually iterate and improve on the user experience.
What will you NOT do?
- You will NOT worry about "runway", "cash left", or "how much time we have until the next round". We have the startup DNA but we're fully backed and funded, all the way to success.
- You will NOT be confined to your "job". You will get involved in product, marketing, business strategy, and almost everything we do.

Can I work remotely?
Yes. We operate in Pacific Time and candidates in any time zone are welcome to apply.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience leading the product design process from start to finish.
- Extreme attention to detail and desire to understand all aspects of our product.
- A portfolio of projects that include user research, ideation, launch, iteration, and results. Please provide a link.
- Ability to balance business, technical, and user needs.
- Experience with Figma to effectively communicate design solutions.
- Ability to make improvements based on quantitative data and qualitative feedback.
- Ability to prioritize based on user impact and development effort.

The is a part-time remote contract position with an hourly range of $100 - $130/hr.
