And as a mental health company, we take employee mental health just as seriously as we do our mission. We deeply invest in our team’s well-being and professional development, because we know that business and individual growth go hand-in-hand. At BetterHelp, you’ll carve your own path, make an immediate impact, and be challenged every day – with a supportive community behind you the whole way.

What are we looking for?

BetterHelp is looking for a Consultant Relations Senior Manager to help accelerate the growth of our Enterprise business by building and activating relationships across the employee benefits broker and consultant ecosystem.

In this role, you’ll own broker and consultant engagement across assigned markets, identifying the firms, offices, and individual relationships with the greatest potential to expand BetterHelp’s reach and generate new business opportunities. You’ll build trusted relationships, develop and execute engagement strategies, and help brokers and consultants understand, evaluate, and confidently introduce BetterHelp to their clients.

We’re looking for a relationship-driven, commercially minded professional who understands how influence works within the employee benefits ecosystem. You know how to operate at both the organizational level, through enablement, programming, events, and go-to-market initiatives, and the individual level, by developing trusted relationships and credibility with brokers and consultants. You’ll have meaningful autonomy in determining where to focus your efforts, how to activate relationships, and how to translate partner engagement into measurable business impact.

Reporting to the Head of Enterprise Sales, you’ll use market intelligence, partner insights, internal data, and strong relationship-building skills to identify opportunities, generate pipeline, and strengthen BetterHelp’s position within the employee benefits market.

What will you do?

Own Broker & Consultant Relationships

  • Build and nurture strong, trust-based relationships with employee benefits brokers, consultants, and other trusted advisors across assigned markets.
  • Independently identify and prioritize the firms, offices, and individual relationships with the greatest potential to influence pipeline, revenue, and market awareness.
  • Develop engagement strategies tailored to individual partners, firms, and markets based on their needs, influence, client base, and potential opportunity.
  • Serve as a primary BetterHelp relationship owner for assigned brokers and consultants, maintaining consistent, high-quality engagement across virtual and in-person interactions.
  • Establish BetterHelp as a trusted behavioral health partner by developing credibility, understanding partner needs, and delivering a strong and responsive partner experience.
  • Maintain relationships over time through thoughtful outreach, education, programming, events, and other engagement opportunities.

Generate & Activate Pipeline

  • Own the development of broker and consultant-sourced opportunities, activating relationships to generate qualified pipeline for Account Executives.
  • Identify opportunities within partner books of business and work proactively with brokers and consultants to create introductions and new conversations.
  • Partner closely with Account Executives to transition qualified opportunities and determine the right strategy for advancing broker and consultant-sourced business.
  • Support client pitches, RFPs, finalist presentations, and other key stages of the sales process where broker or consultant involvement can help advance an opportunity.
  • Maintain visibility into partner-generated opportunities and use engagement and pipeline data to evaluate relationship effectiveness and inform where to invest time and resources.
  • Take accountability for the quality and growth of broker and consultant-sourced pipeline within assigned markets.

Drive Partner Enablement & GTM Execution

  • Execute and operationalize partner enablement and go-to-market programs that help brokers and consultants effectively understand, evaluate, position, and support BetterHelp’s solutions.
  • Determine the appropriate cadence, programming, education, and outreach needed to strengthen relationships and increase awareness of BetterHelp across assigned markets.
  • Deliver partner-facing presentations, training, resources, and sales tools in collaboration with Sales, Partnerships, Marketing, Product, and other internal teams.
  • Translate BetterHelp’s value proposition into relevant and compelling stories that resonate with brokers, consultants, and their clients.
  • Identify opportunities for events, meetings, educational programming, and other engagement strategies that deepen relationships and create new business opportunities.
  • Ensure partner-facing messaging and experiences are consistent, relevant, actionable, and aligned with BetterHelp’s broader go-to-market strategy.

Use Insights to Strengthen Our Approach

  • Use internal data, market intelligence, partner feedback, and performance metrics to continuously evaluate and strengthen broker and consultant engagement strategies.
  • Capture and synthesize insights from brokers and consultants to identify emerging client needs, market trends, competitive dynamics, and opportunities for BetterHelp.
  • Bring forward partner and market insights that can help inform positioning, enablement, product improvements, and broader go-to-market decisions.
  • Identify opportunities to improve partner programming, resources, processes, and the overall broker and consultant experience.
  • Apply sound judgment in determining where to invest time, resources, and engagement based on potential business impact.

Win Together

  • Partner closely with Sales Leadership, Account Executives, Partnerships, Marketing, Product, Operations, and other teams to strengthen broker and consultant relationships and advance sourced opportunities.
  • Bring the right internal partners into relationships and opportunities at the right time while maintaining clear ownership of the overall broker and consultant relationship.
  • Share successful approaches, partner feedback, and market learnings with the broader team to strengthen BetterHelp’s Enterprise go-to-market motion.
  • Act as a BetterHelp ambassador within the employee benefits ecosystem, representing our solutions and brand with credibility and consistency.
  • Contribute to a collaborative, ambitious, accountable, and high-performing Enterprise team.

What will you NOT do?

  • You will NOT worry about "runway", "cash left", or "how much time we have until the next round". We have the startup DNA but we're fully backed and funded, all the way to success.
  • You will NOT be confined to your "job". You will get involved in product, marketing, business strategy, and almost everything we do.
  • You will NOT be bogged down by office politics, ego, or bad attitude. Only positive, pleasure-to-work-with people are allowed here!
  • You will NOT get yourself burned out. We work hard but we believe in maintaining a sustainable work/life balance. Really.

Can I work remotely?

Yes. This role can be performed remotely from anywhere in the U.S. While we embrace the flexibility of remote work, we also value opportunities to bring teams together in person for collaboration and connection. BetterHelp covers approved expenses for company-requested travel, and reasonable accommodations are available for employees who are unable to travel.

  • Strong working knowledge of the employee benefits broker and consultant ecosystem, including how partners evaluate, position, and recommend behavioral health, healthcare, or employee benefits solutions.
  • A demonstrated track record of building and maintaining strong broker and consultant relationships that generate introductions, referrals, qualified pipeline, or new-business opportunities.
  • Experience developing relationships through a combination of in-person and virtual engagement, including meetings, presentations, educational programming, and industry events.
  • Experience partnering with sales teams to develop opportunities and support pitches, RFPs, finalist presentations, and other stages of the sales process.
  • Strong relationship-building and influencing skills, with the ability to establish credibility and develop trusted relationships across different levels of broker and consultant organizations.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling skills, with the ability to translate complex solutions into clear and compelling value propositions.
  • Strong business judgment and the ability to independently prioritize relationships, markets, and opportunities based on their potential business impact.
  • Ability to balance hands-on relationship management with strategic prioritization, consistent follow-through, and longer-term market development.
  • Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple relationships, opportunities, initiatives, and deadlines simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
