Job Title: Bookkeeper
Location: This position is onsite in Irvine, CA.
Employment Type: Full-time
Pay Range: $55,000-65,000 per year based on experience, qualifications, and skillset.

Key Responsibilities:
The Bookkeeper must be able to perform the following tasks:
- Manage Financial Records: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for
multiple clients, ensuring all transactions are recorded promptly. - Review Balance Sheets and P&Ls: Analyze and review balance sheets and profit and
loss statements for accuracy, identifying any discrepancies and making necessary
adjustments. - Catch-Up Bookkeeping: Organize and reconcile client transactions to bring their
accounts up to date, preparing them for tax preparation and compliance. - Payroll Processing: Review and ensure accuracy in payroll reports (940/941), assisting
in payroll tax calculations and filings. - Financial Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports to clients, providing insights
into their financial status and advising on best practices. - Collaborate with Tax Preparers: Work closely with tax preparers to provide necessary
financial documentation and insights to facilitate the preparation of back taxes. - Research and Compliance: Stay updated on accounting regulations and compliance
requirements to ensure accuracy in financial reporting. - Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for improving bookkeeping processes
and implementing best practices. - Audit Support: Assist in the preparation of audit documentation and support during
audits when necessary. - Client Interaction: Communicate with clients to gather necessary documentation and
provide updates on their financial status.
Required Qualifications:
The Bookkeeper must have the following experiences:
- Experience in Bookkeeping or Accounting: Proven experience in bookkeeping,
accounting, or related fields, with a solid understanding of financial principles. - Education: A college degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
Relevant certifications (e.g., QuickBooks Certification) are a plus. - Technical Proficiency: Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and
MS Office Suite, particularly Excel. - Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage
multiple clients and ensure accuracy in financial records. - Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze financial data, identify trends, and make
recommendations for improvements. - Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively
interact with clients and team members. - Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced
environment.
