About the role: We are looking to hire a highly strategic, creative, and hands-on Head of Social Media to lead our social media efforts across all platforms. This role is ideal for someone who deeply understands the nuances of each social platform, knows how to build and manage an engaged community, and thrives at the intersection of strategy, execution, and innovation.

You will be responsible for defining our social media vision, driving high-impact engagement, crafting and executing platform-specific content strategies, and growing our digital presence across channels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and execute a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with business goals and brand identity
  • Own the content calendar across platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.), tailoring tone, timing, and format for each
  • Create and execute engaging, original, and platform-optimized content, collaborating with designers, copywriters, and stakeholders
  • Oversee community management by engaging with followers, answering comments and DMs, and fostering conversations that build loyalty and trust
  • Continuously analyze and optimize performance, using analytics tools to track KPIs (engagement, growth, reach, conversion, etc.) and report insights to stakeholders
  • Stay ahead of trends, platform updates, and algorithm changes to adjust strategy and leverage new features creatively
  • Coordinate social campaigns for product launches, brand initiatives, or events, ensuring integration with broader marketing strategies
  • Manage our UGC platform: review creator scripts, source and brief content creators, oversee comment engagement, and deliver approved content to the in-house video editor
  • Mentor and lead any supporting team members or external partners (agencies, freelancers)

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in social media management, ideally with 2+ years in a leadership role
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful social media strategies that drive engagement, growth, and measurable business results
  • Deep understanding of each social platform’s unique culture, audience behavior, and best practices
  • A track record of growing and engaging communities with creative, high-performing content
  • Strong grasp of social analytics tools
  • Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills
  • Strong organizational and project management abilities
  • Experience in brand marketing or creative direction as well as basic graphic design, video editing, or motion graphics skills, would be a plus
