Role summary:
We are looking for a hands-on People & Culture professional to support managers and employees across our Bulgaria office. The role focuses on employee relations, performance management, people operations, and employee experience, while helping foster an engaging and high-performing workplace culture. This position reports directly to the Head of People & Culture and will work closely with the wider People & Culture team across Bulgaria, the UK, and Canada.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a trusted partner to managers and employees, serving as a bridge between leadership and the People & Culture team across the Bulgaria office
- Advise and support managers on performance management, employee relations, engagement, and other people-related matters with professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment
- Support and coordinate annual performance review cycles, goal-setting processes, probationary reviews, and ongoing feedback initiatives
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation across HRIS platforms and internal systems
- Support core people operations processes on an as-needed basis
- Oversee onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure a seamless employee experience
- Support office operations and employee experience initiatives, contributing to an engaging, and high-performing culture and workplace environment
Requirements:
- Strong experience in an HR Generalist, HR Manager, or People / HR Business Partner role
- Demonstrated ability to operate with a high level of ownership, discretion, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
- Experience supporting managers with performance management and employee relations matters
- Solid communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills
- Good understanding of Bulgarian labor legislation
- Experience in iGaming would be considered an advantage
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken
