
Commercial Loan Administrator
Position Summary:
Bevel Financial is seeking a highly motivated and empathetic Commercial Loan Administrator to be the primary point of contact for our valued clients throughout their relationship with us. This role is crucial in ensuring an exceptional client experience from onboarding through the entire lifecycle of their financing solutions. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a proactive approach to client satisfaction, and a deep understanding of financial services operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Relationship Management:
- Serve as the main point of contact for a portfolio of clients, building and nurturing strong, trust-based relationships.
- Proactively engage with clients to understand their ongoing needs, anticipate potential issues, and identify opportunities to enhance their experience.
- Act as a client advocate within Bevel Financial, ensuring client needs and feedback are effectively communicated to relevant internal teams (e.g., Credit, Operations, Sales).
- Loan Closing & Finalization:
- Guide clients through the loan closing process, ensuring a smooth and efficient transaction completion.
- Calculate and verify all closing fees, down payment amounts, total financed amounts, and other financial components.
- Educate clients on final loan terms, disbursement procedures, and post-closing requirements and resources.
- Operational Support & Issue Resolution:
- Address client inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally, ranging from account questions and payment schedules to technical support and general concerns.
- Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., Operations, Accounting, Legal) to facilitate accurate and timely resolution of client requests and operational matters.
- Monitor client accounts for activity, discrepancies, or potential issues, taking proactive steps to address them.
- Communication & Reporting:
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of client interactions and communications in the CRM system.
- Provide regular updates to clients regarding their accounts, product changes, or relevant market information.
- Generate client-specific reports or statements as needed.
- Process Improvement:
- Identify opportunities to enhance the client experience and improve internal client care processes.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of best practices for client communication and service delivery.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Communications, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in a client-facing role within financial services, banking, lending, or a similar B2B service industry.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and empathetically.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
- Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- A high degree of professionalism, integrity, and discretion.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of lending products, commercial finance, or small business financing.
- Experience with process improvement methodologies.
