We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented intern to support our business development efforts. This role is ideal for someone interested in finance, sales, and relationship-building, with the ability to manage both outreach and internal coordination. You will play a key role in helping our leadership team build strategic partnerships by identifying and engaging “centers of influence” (COIs) and ensuring a steady pipeline of scheduled meetings.
What You'll Do
- Conduct outbound outreach to targeted centers of influence, including:
- Tax strategists
- Business brokers
- Accountants
- Capital connectors
- Registered Investment Advisors (RIAs)
- Clearly communicate Bevel’s value proposition and secure introductory meetings with senior leadership
- Manage and coordinate leadership calendars to ensure consistent scheduling of qualified meetings
- Track outreach activity, responses, and meeting outcomes in CRM or internal systems
- Maintain organized records of contacts, follow-ups, and scheduling details
- Collaborate with leadership to refine outreach messaging and targeting strategies
What You'll Need
- Strong communication skills; comfortable initiating conversations with professionals via phone and email
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through
- Self-motivated and able to handle rejection while maintaining a positive, professional demeanor
- Interest in finance, business development, or sales
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, including outreach and scheduling coordination
- Familiarity with CRM tools, calendar management, or willingness to learn
