Senior Manufacturing Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to join our team and play a critical role in scaling and optimizing our manufacturing operations. This individual will act as the primary point of contact for all manufacturing-related activities with one of our contract manufacturers (CM), overseeing day-to-day execution, production targets, and issue resolution. The Senior Manufacturing Engineer will also lead continuous improvement initiatives and process enhancements to ensure that our manufacturing capabilities can scale as we continue to grow rapidly. This role will involve close collaboration with various cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Supply Chain, and Operations, to support the development and execution of robust manufacturing strategies. The ideal candidate will bring a mix of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and leadership to drive performance excellence. 

Your Day to Day

Oversee Manufacturing Operations - Be the go-to subject matter expert for all aspects of manufacturing with our contract manufacturers. Ensure day-to-day operations align with Bevi’s production goals, quality standards, and timelines. 

Drive Continuous Improvement - Identify, implement, and track improvements to processes, equipment, and materials that increase manufacturing efficiency, reliability, and scalability. Develop a data-driven approach to identify bottlenecks and areas for improvement. 

Lead Problem-Solving Efforts - Spearhead cross-functional initiatives to resolve complex manufacturing issues, including quality defects, design limitations, and operational inefficiencies. Use problem-solving methodologies to perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions. 

Collaboration & Cross-Functional Leadership - Work closely with internal teams (Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality) and external partners (contract manufacturers, suppliers) to ensure manufacturing processes meet Bevi's quality and production standards. Drive alignment between stakeholders to prioritize key initiatives. 

Manufacturing Strategy Development - Play an instrumental role in developing and executing strategies for manufacturing scalability. Work with the leadership team to plan and implement initiatives that will ensure Bevi’s manufacturing capabilities can grow with the business. 

Support Supplier and Vendor Relationships - Manage relationships with suppliers and contract manufacturers, providing technical guidance and support for process improvements, testing procedures, and quality monitoring.

Ensure Robust Documentation and Reporting - Lead the creation and maintenance of manufacturing documentation, including process flows, work instructions, and engineering change orders. Regularly track and report on quality and reliability metrics. 

Execute Product Design Changes - Implement design changes, product refreshes, and continuous improvements on existing product lines. Collaborate with design and manufacturing teams to ensure changes are smoothly integrated into production while maintaining quality, cost, and reliability standards. 

What You Have

● 5+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, quality engineering, or process engineering, with a strong track record in fast-paced, high-growth environments.

● Manufacturing Ownership - Demonstrated ability to independently manage day-to-day manufacturing activities with contract manufacturers, drive production schedules, address issues, and optimize processes. 

● Process Optimization - Expertise in process optimization, continuous improvement, lean manufacturing, six sigma, SPC, Kaizen, and other methodologies to improve product quality, manufacturing efficiency, and cost control. 

● Problem-Solving - Advanced problem-solving skills, including experience with structured methodologies like 8D, 5Y, and root cause analysis. Able to lead efforts to diagnose and solve complex manufacturing challenges. 

● Engineering Change Management - Deep understanding of engineering change management systems and processes. Ability to drive the introduction and execution of product and process changes. 

● Cross-Functional Collaboration - Ability to work effectively across engineering, quality, supply chain, and operations teams to ensure that products are manufactured to specification, on time, and within budget. 

● Global Supplier Experience - Experience working with suppliers and contract manufacturers in diverse geographies and understanding how to scale operations while maintaining high standards of quality and cost efficiency. 

● Data-Driven - Strong analytical skills, with the ability to use data to drive decisions and measure the effectiveness of improvements. Experience with statistical analysis, quality metrics, and performance tracking. 

● Communication Skills - Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and drive alignment across multiple teams.

The posted compensation range reflects the salary for this position. Some roles may be eligible for a commission plan or a bonus incentive. All Bevi employees receive equity in the form of stock options. Offers to join Bevi are based on a few criteria, including the scope of the role, the candidate's work experience, targeted skills, internal equity of the team, and external market data.

Pay Range

$110,500 - $136,500 USD
