Senior Manager, Hardware Quality Engineering

We are seeking an experienced and driven Senior Manager, Hardware Quality Engineering to lead Bevi’s hardware quality team and ensure the reliability and performance of our products throughout their lifecycle.

In this role, you’ll lead a talented group of quality engineers and technicians while partnering closely with Hardware Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Operations. You’ll drive continuous improvement in product and supplier quality, scale robust quality systems, and ensure our products consistently meet the high standards Bevi customers expect.

Your Day to Day

  • Lead and mentor a team of quality engineers and technicians, developing technical capability and ownership across projects and programs
  • Ensure excellent manufacturing quality through process controls, preventive actions, and effective issue resolution across suppliers and contract manufacturers
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain to embed quality and reliability into design, validation, and production processes
  • Implement and refine quality systems—including nonconformance handling, supplier quality, RMAs, and NPI readiness
  • Drive structured problem solving using methodologies such as 8D and RCCA, ensuring root causes are addressed and preventive actions sustained
  • Oversee supplier performance through audits, scorecards, and improvement plans
  • Conduct and guide risk assessments (FMEA, GR&R, process capability studies) to proactively identify and mitigate potential quality issues
  • Analyze data and trends to inform decisions, improve reliability, and reduce warranty and field failure costs

Requirements

  • Passion for delivering best-in-class quality and reliability
  • Strong communicator with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and present findings to leadership
  • Deep understanding of quality engineering principles (FMEA, GR&R, SPC, statistical analysis, reliability testing)
  • Experience leading hardware quality, reliability, or continuous improvement teams through the full product lifecycle
  • Hands-on experience with electromechanical systems or consumer hardware; experience in commercial appliances and familiarity with NSF, NRTL, and UL standards a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field)
  • ​​8+ years in hardware quality engineering, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership role
  • ASQ certifications (CQE, CQA) a plus
  • Ability to be in the office 3–5 days per week and travel up to 30% (domestic and occasional international)

The posted compensation range reflects the salary for this position. Some roles may be eligible for a commission plan or a bonus incentive. All Bevi employees receive equity in the form of stock options. All full-time employees are invited to participate in our Total Rewards plan, which includes health & medical benefits, flexible spending accounts, flexible PTO, and more. Offers to join Bevi are based on a few criteria, including the scope of the role, the candidate's work experience, targeted skills, internal equity of the team, and external market data.

Pay Range

$163,200 - $201,600 USD
