Director, Product - Digital Experiences

Boston

Bevi is on a mission to transform how beverages are delivered and consumed. Our smart hydration systems eliminate the need for single-use bottles and cans—making it easy, fun, and sustainable to stay hydrated. As the category leader in IoT-enabled beverage technology, we're building a future where Bevi machines are everywhere people live, work, and connect. We've raised over $160M in venture capital, serve thousands of customers across the US, Canada, UK and Ireland, and we've been rapidly growing year over year—saving over 1 billion bottles from waste. In addition to driving hypergrowth with our current product line, Bevi is heavily investing in new product development.

The Director of Product, Digital Experiences will own Bevi’s end-to-end software ecosystem — from the on-machine user experience drinkers interact with every day, to the digital tools that empower Bevi’s partners, service technicians, and internal teams.

This leader will unify software product management and an inaugural e-commerce product function, establishing a coherent strategy for Bevi’s digital experience. They’ll be both strategic and hands-on — defining the vision, shaping the roadmap, and driving execution.

Reporting to the VP/Head of Product, this person will collaborate closely with Design & Research, Engineering, and Marketing to extend Bevi’s mission through beautifully connected digital experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Digital Experience Vision & Strategy

  • Define a unified product vision for Bevi’s digital ecosystem across dispenser UI, partner tools, service apps, and emerging e-commerce channels.
  • Develop a software roadmap that aligns with Bevi’s hardware roadmap and supports the company’s sustainability and growth goals.
  • Create a scalable digital platform architecture that enables rapid iteration and integration across product lines.
  • Establish and communicate measurable success metrics for engagement, retention, and system performance.
  • Champion design thinking, data-informed decision-making, and iterative experimentation throughout the product lifecycle.

AI/ML and Data-Driven Innovation

  • Leverage AI and machine learning to improve product intelligence, predictive maintenance, and personalization.
  • Partner with engineering and data teams to develop smart systems that anticipate user needs, optimize machine uptime, and surface actionable insights for service teams and partners.
  • Integrate data analytics and AI capabilities into e-commerce, enabling personalized recommendations, proactive replenishment, and operational efficiency.
  • Identify opportunities for automation, anomaly detection, and user behavior modeling to make Bevi’s digital products more adaptive and responsive.

Execution & Leadership

  • Lead and mentor a small team of software and e-commerce product managers.
  • Operate as a player-coach: directly manage key product areas while fostering the growth of emerging product leaders.
  • Translate strategic priorities into clear product roadmaps, feature definitions, and measurable outcomes.
  • Collaborate with Design & Research to ensure Bevi’s digital experiences are intuitive, inclusive, and on-brand.
  • Partner with Engineering to ensure seamless delivery of robust, scalable software solutions.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Hardware Product Management to ensure tight integration between dispenser software and physical product experience.
  • Collaborate deeply with the Beverage Product team to create digital experiences that:
  • Showcase Bevi’s evolving flavor and beverage offerings through intuitive discovery, customization, and storytelling.
  • Support beverage innovation through digital interfaces, data capture, and insights on consumption and preference trends.
  • Align roadmaps to ensure new beverage features or products are reflected in software capabilities and user journeys.
  • Work hand-in-hand with the UI/UX Design team — establishing the strategic context, goals, and roadmap direction for digital experiences that design will bring to life.
  • Define the “why” and “what” for each initiative, empowering design to lead the “how” through exploration, testing, and detailed execution.
  • Foster a collaborative rhythm where design and product co-own discovery and validation while maintaining clear accountability for delivery.
  • Partner with Marketing and Commercial teams to extend Bevi’s digital brand experience into customer engagement, ordering, and partner portals.
  • Integrate feedback loops from customers, operators, and service teams into iterative roadmap decisions.

E-Commerce & Platform Development

  • Build and scale Bevi’s inaugural e-commerce product function, defining how customers, partners, and operators interact digitally with Bevi’s offerings.
  • Design user journeys that make ordering, customization, and account management frictionless and reflective of Bevi’s brand.
  • Identify opportunities to use connected data and platform intelligence to enhance customer lifetime value and engagement.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to develop APIs and integrations that extend Bevi’s digital ecosystem.

What Success Looks Like

  • A cohesive, data-informed software strategy that connects all of Bevi’s digital experiences.
  • The e-commerce platform is launched and scaling with measurable engagement and retention.
  • Seamless coordination between Beverage Product, Hardware Product, and Digital Product roadmaps.
  • AI- and ML-enabled capabilities that enhance personalization, uptime, and customer insights.
  • Consistent, delightful user experiences that strengthen Bevi’s brand and business outcomes.

Qualifications

  • 8–12 years of experience in product management, with 3+ years in a leadership or team-building role.
  • Proven success leading software or digital product teams, ideally in connected product, IoT, or consumer technology environments.
  • Experience integrating AI/ML or data science into product strategy and delivery.
  • Strong technical understanding and ability to collaborate deeply with engineering teams.
  • Track record of delivering end-to-end digital experiences across multiple user types (consumer, operator, enterprise partner).
  • Experience launching or scaling e-commerce platforms or digital marketplaces a plus.
  • Excellent communication, storytelling, and influence skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Passion for sustainability, design, and creating experiences that connect technology with human impact.

The Opportunity

This is a rare opportunity to define the future of digital at Bevi — bridging IoT, e-commerce, and design innovation into a single, user-centered vision. You’ll shape how millions of people interact with Bevi every day — and how we continue to make sustainable hydration effortless, personal, and joyful.

Classification of protected categories is as follows:

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
