What you’ll do as a IT & Security Analyst

You will work on the IT Engineering team. Our team owns SaaS, IDP, Endpoint (Windows & Mac), and Google Workspace administration. Your work will be primarily project based, focused on supporting business requests. You will perform data gathering and assessments related to access logs and data movement. You will support our Data Loss Prevention and Insider Risk mitigation activities.

Skill Requirements and Responsibilities

• Minimum of 3 years experience in a Cyber Security or IT role
• Curious and excited to learn
• Ability to work with a sense of urgency
• Self-starter with the ability to prioritize between many ongoing projects
• Knowledge of cybersecurity and privacy principles
• Knowledge of how to use network analysis tools to identify vulnerabilities
• Knowledge of how traffic flows across the network and the OSI Model
• SIEM utilization, building queries, dashboards and alerts
• Experience with Platform and Endpoint DLP Tooling
• Experience with eDiscovery tools
• Scripting knowledge utilizing Python, Powershell or Bash
• Assessing the effectiveness of security controls, and analyzing activity logs for potential threats
• Documenting security breaches and other metrics
• Reviewing and configuring Endpoint DLP policies

Desirable Skills

• Knowledge of DEX/DEM tooling
• SASE/SSE Experience
• Zero Trust Security architecture fundamentals
• General awareness of endpoint security tools and SecOps work, DLP, SIEM, EDR, Vulnerability management

The ideal candidate for this position is agile and capable of quickly learning new tools and technologies. You’ll need to be capable of diving deep when required, but also context-switching frequently depending on business needs. We want quick learners, someone that can grasp complex technical concepts and translate that tech into measurable business outcomes.
