About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity available for an experienced, strategic-minded leader looking to work in a high performance result driven company. As SVP of Finance you will be a key member of the executive team, responsible for guiding our financial strategy and overseeing FP&A, Capital Markets & Treasury.  The ideal candidate will have strong relationship management skills, and solid business acumen capable of driving results and improving processes. Strong verbal and written communication skills are crucial, as well as the ability to prioritize, analyze quantitatively, and problem-solve. This role will report to the Chief Financial Officer.

What You'll Do

  • Financial Strategy and Planning: Lead all aspects of FP&A, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling, ensuring alignment with Beyond’s overall business objectives. Partner with the CEO, CFO and the executive team to develop and implement comprehensive financial strategies and provide in-depth financial analysis, sensitivity testing and insights to guide strategic decision-making and long-term planning
  • KPI Reporting: Lead the development, implementation, and ongoing refinement of key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure financial and operational success. Regularly report on KPI performance to executive leadership, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
  • Capital Management & Strategy: Oversee and develop the capital management strategy, managing cash flow, liquidity and credit facilities to meet the company’s profitability, growth and operating objectives.
  • Risk Mitigation: Identify, assess and mitigate financial risks through proactive risk management practices. Monitor market trends, regulatory changes and economic indicators to anticipate potential risks and opportunities.
  • Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams: Partner closely with the Accounting, Business Analytics, and Operations teams to enhance the quality and effectiveness of management reporting, operational performance tracking, and financial metrics analysis.
  • Lead the Financial Tool Optimization and Reporting Enhancements efforts: Drive continuous improvement in reporting and modeling tools, ensuring they meet the evolving needs of the organization and enhance decision-making capabilities.
  • Strategic Project Support: Collaborate with executives on high-impact projects, including capital markets initiatives, profitability and contract negotiations. Provide financial insights and analysis to support critical business decisions.
  • Policies and Procedures: Ensure that standard operating procedures, processes and controls are implemented and documented throughout the finance org.

What We Look For

  • 12+ years of experience in FP&A or strategic finance, with a minimum of 5 years as VP of Finance, CFO, or similar leadership role in a high-growth scaled environment.
  • Strong track record of success in fast paced environments (e.g., funds, fintech companies, banks).
  • Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a strong capacity to present complex financial information clearly.
  • Proven ability to analyze complex financial data, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations to drive strategic initiatives.
  • Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to develop and understand complex financial models.
  • Experience in the financial services industry, working with asset-backed credit facilities, securitizations, and other structures
  • Strong expertise in treasury management and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and lead high-performing teams at scale.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a proven track record of building effective relationships across diverse teams and functions.
  • Attention to detail, a willingness to roll up your sleeves, and deliver results
