Job Title: Salesforce Development Manager

Location: 222 N La Salle St, Suite 1600, Chicago, IL 60601

Job Description: Lead and manage development of our Salesforce solution. Work closely with product management and core engineering teams, as well as other internal and external stakeholders to ensure the solution stays in line with business needs as well as provide recommendations for continuous improvements and system efficiencies. Recommend, design, implement, test, and deploy solutions utilizing various Salesforce architectural components, Apex code, and Web Services. Provide hands-on lightning development for the Salesforce configuration, Apex classes and triggers, SOQL/SOSL, Aura, and LWC. Analyze and implement integration APIs (REST/SOAP) to communicate with internal and external components. Implement testing and QA for functional changes within Salesforce scratch org. Assist with release process and coordination, monitor production applications, and contribute to strategic technology planning. Provide error resolution and technical support at tier 2 and tier 3 levels. Translate technical concepts and conduct complex interpersonal interactions often involving moderately to highly complex technical topics. Ensure compliance with regulations and internal security policies. Work is performed in company’s office in Chicago with some remote work permitted per company policy.

Education Requirement: Master’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or related.

Experience Requirement: 3 years of experience as Salesforce Developer

Special Skills: Must have at least one year of work experience with each of the following: 1) Salesforce DX including CLI for continuous integration of code from test environment to production  ; (2) Completing integration between Salesforce and external systems using Platform Events, including writing custom-coded subscriptions and publishing mechanisms; (3) Managing a team of Salesforce business analysts and developers, including review of business requirements and translation into technical solutions. Work is performed in company’s office in Chicago with some remote work permitted per company policy.

Salary range: $156,000-$234,000
