Job Title: SDET Manager

Location: 222 N La Salle St, Suite 1600, Chicago, IL 60601

Job Description: Manage the designing and executing of manual test plans, automating test cases, and proactively reporting issues to ensure that our platform and product provide a seamless user experience. Manage and mentor our team of QA engineers. Support testing efforts for multiple projects and software releases for AWS, Mobile, and Salesforce based applications, including integration, system, regression, performance and user-acceptance testing from end to end. Define test strategy and test plans and review them with stakeholders to improve test coverage and review and fill gaps in existing automation. Create, execute, and maintain effective test plans, test scenarios and test cases based on requirements, user stories, and project needs. Execute automation tests that cover functional, regression, integration, and smoke testing. Assist Development and Business teams to troubleshoot issues. Partner with Engineering and Product to ensure requirements are documented, understood, testable, and accurately covered in regression. Contribute to the tracking and reporting of established QA metrics and KPIs for assigned projects. Follow established QA best practices and methodologies. Remote work permitted with quarterly in office work in Chicago, per company policy.

Education Requirement: Master’s degree in Computer Science or related.

Experience Requirement: 2 years of experience in Software Engineer in Test

Special Skills: Must have at least one year of work experience with each of the following: 1) Developing test automation frameworks in Ruby, Capybara, Selenium for Ruby on Rails application in the financial services industry; (2) Using CI/CD tools including Jenkins and CircleCI to test and release to production multiple times daily; and (3) Managing a team of SDET engineers. Remote work permitted with quarterly in office work in Chicago, per company policy.

Salary range: $128,000-$192,000
