The Business Operations Documentation Specialist will help ensure all Business Operations team members receive timely, relevant, and engaging information that supports their work. The Documentation Specialist is an excellent communicator with a passion for people and purpose. This person will play a key role in keeping Business Operations informed and aligned from engaging in listening sessions and team meetings as well as gathering information from print publications and videos. 

Workplace Requirements: This position follows a hybrid work model, requiring a minimum of two days in the Houston office, located at 1401 Enclave Parkway, Houston, TX 77077, each week. Additional on-site presence may be necessary based on job responsibilities and operational needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Translate operations procedural and/or technical information.
  • Curation of new procedural documentation as needed. 
  • Maintain policies and procedures repository. 
  • Validate/test implementation of processes as predicated on protocols outlined within statements of process. 
  • Collect input from users to identify areas for improvement and refine documentation for enhanced usability.
  • Possess strong interpersonal skills to collaborate, build, and maintain positive relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ensure clarity, consistency, and accuracy of Standard Operating Procedures. 
  • Improving efficiency by producing readily accessible documentation that helps streamline business processes and reduce errors and misunderstandings.
  • Enhance user experience by making it easier for Business Operations teams to understand and interact with system refinements and procedural changes through user-friendly documentation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Two or more years of progressively responsible experience in communications, writing, employee engagement, or other closely related fields
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic graphic or content tools
  • Strong spelling, proofreading, grammar, and editing skills
  • Detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and organized
  • Excellent technical writing and editing skills. Can produce clear and concise content for various platforms, including presentations, policy documents, or statements of process.
  • Experience working with both stateside and offshore teams.

The base hourly range is listed below.

Hourly Range

$28 - $35 USD
