About The Role 

As a Technical Consultant at BeyondID, you'll be at the forefront of transforming how organizations manage their digital identities. This hands-on role offers an exciting opportunity to partner with our clients in a post-sales capacity, ensuring their success through innovative consulting and deployment services. You’ll dive into diverse projects, leveraging your expertise to design and implement tailored solutions that address critical security and compliance needs. 

Collaboration is key; you’ll work closely with cross-functional teams and engage with all levels of customer management, fostering relationships that lead to meaningful impact. Your proactive approach will drive exceptional customer experiences and help identify new opportunities for growth. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Engage directly with customers in a post-sales capacity to deliver innovative consulting and deployment services. 
  • Collect, analyze, and document post-sales requirements effectively. 
  • Proactively provide exceptional design and deployment solutions. 
  • Respond promptly to customer goals and requests. 
  • Collaborate with other BeyondID teams as necessary. 
  • Work alongside the sales team to identify up-sell and cross-sell opportunities with existing customers. 
  • Interact with various levels of management and roles within customer organizations. 
  • Manage multiple deployment projects simultaneously. 
  • Contribute to and utilize the knowledge repository of deployment best practices. 

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field. 
  • Typically, 2+ years of experience in a technical consulting or implementation role, preferably in identity management or cybersecurity. 
  • Proficiency in identity management solutions, including hands-on experience with platforms like Okta, AWS, or similar technologies. 
  • Understanding of cloud infrastructure and security principles. 
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple concurrent deployment projects in a customer-facing environment. 
  • Proven ability to gather, analyze, and document customer requirements effectively. 
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to design and deployment services. 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to interact effectively with all levels of management and roles within customer organizations. 
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales. 
  • Passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences and ensuring long-term customer success. 
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. 
  • Demonstrated commitment to professional development and staying updated on industry trends and best practices in identity management and cybersecurity. 

 

Bonus Points 

  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Okta Certified Administrator).
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools (e.g., Agile, Jira, Trello). 
  • Familiarity with programming languages (e.g., PHP, Java, Ruby, .NET), web programming (REST/JSON), UI design, software requirements, software development processes, object-oriented design (OOD), and software testing/debugging. 
  • Familiarity with API integrations and security protocols (e.g., SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect).
